Just looking for some inspiration to throw in a few story arcs and points of interest for my individual PCs.

Also, some nice magic items that they could find as loot.

> Nothien (Human Bard 4): rolled pretty badly for abilities, and put scores in some odd places. A little underpowered overall. The player is often not in attendance, so gets run as a 2nd PC/NPC quite often. He is a typical Bard showman and party face. Sword and board or crossbow type.

> Iveshlea (Illumian Duskblade 4): a decent character, she is very interested in her Illumian heritage, and all things planar (most especially The Plane of Shadow). Two handed melee type.

> Iulia (Human Warlock 4): powerhouse, rolled godlike ability scores and has rolled WELL above average HP. Not too sure of overall interests or motivations. The player is often not in attendance, so gets run as a 2nd PC/NPC quite often.

> Afan (Aasimar [LA bought off] Warblade 3): first ToB character in our game. Embraces his martial options, and tries to stick true to the fluff of the Warblade being a glory hound and combat showoff. ALternates between sword and board and two handed melee.

> Si (Catfolk [LA bought off] Rogue 2/Swashbuckler 1): skillmonkey first and foremost, Two weapon melee type, but a little underwhelming at this level. He (along with the Bard) is one of the characters who doesn't get a lot of chance to shine.

(NPC 1/2 Ogre Fighter 3 accompanies the group. No level buyoff. Not sure how much longer he is going to stick with the party. Mainly a meatshield - best AC in the group).

...so have at it! All feedback welcomed.

Overall storyline is the group opposing a cult of Dispater (allied with Hobgoblin tribes). Adventure is about to shift the the City of Greyhawk where there will be some investigation/intrigue type play where characters hunt foir undercover cultists in the upper echelons of Greyhawk's citizenry.

Cheers - T.

Sources for items are pretty much all 3.X non-setting specific.

City of Greyhawk plotlines
1) Afan, Illumnian could speak with the Wizards Guild of Greyhawk (authorities on planar travel) or perhaps Famous Sages
2) Si, rogue, could be recruited by Thieves Guild of Greyhawk (join, leave town, or die)
3) Afan, warblade, could be challenged by other showy fighters/adventurers. Lord Robilar owns one of the most famous Inns in Greyhawk.
4) 1/2 Ogre (depending on how big) could be denied entrance to the city and certainly denied entrance to nicer parts of the city.
5) restrictions on weapons openly carried in the city

You could also tie the hobgoblin tribe to Red Hand of Doom. Since its Greyhawk, you could tie in any of the famous greyhawk adventures (Temple of Elemental Evil, Against the Giants, Drow, White Plume Mountain, etc.) The Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth was owned by someone who had a lot of knowedge of planar travel. Ruins of Castle Greyhawk would also be a great destination for planar travel info

Also Maure Castle could be tied in to the Cult of Dispater.
