question about enhancing weapons

If one character has the craft magic weapons and armor feat can he craft a weapon without having one of the prerequisite spells if he is added by another character who does have the spell:?

In the creating magic item section it says that you don't need the spell as long as you can have the spell cast everyday from another source. If i remember correctly. It on page 282 in 3.5 dmg or page549 in tje pathfinder core rulebook.
