Insomnia + Tablet = Good times

7am, trying to figure out why I'm not sleeping yet. I'm struck with the sudden ridiculous urge to draw Vaarsuvius. Don't ask me why. Something to do with V being androgynous.

So I borrow(steal) my friend's 4x6 tablet and go crazy. Sorry about the messy drawing, it's pretty much my first time using a tablet. After 20 or so wild sketches, I finally have one that doesn't suck so much, and I wanted to share it with somebody.

Tablets feel so weird. Pencil and paper for life? The ability to erase so easily is kinda awesome though. Not to mention my scanner is broken.

This is a tablet, for hand-drawing on Photoshop, Illustrator and similar programs...

Sorry for not clarifying earlier. I live with a bunch of techno geeks, and the lingo became a part of my daily routine.

I can't color by the way. Or, if by color you mean add lots of dirty cross-hatching and bad shading, I'm your man!

OOOoooooh, you mean like a touch-screen thingy? I've heard of those, from the Tinker who goes out into far-off places, where there are cities and mysterious things that beep and have little coloured lights...

So you can't download it into some program and fill it in with prettiful colours? That's a pity.
