Advice on what to buy for my pc

So the final mission for my 3.5 game is at hand and the GM is gifting each player any item 100,000 or less from any 3.5 book
my pc is a gestalt factotum/fighter

my question is what item should i get for my pc who is level 9

What we recommend depends on what you already have and what the mission will entail. Can the BBEG fly? Can you fly? Does he use enchantments or a really big axe? Do you need more AC, or more damage? Etc. If you can't think of anything though, a +4 belt of magnificence from miniatures handbook is exactly 100,000 gold, and gives a +4 enhancement bonus to all 6 stats.

Considering a +6 resistance bonus costs 360,000 gp, it's probably just a little bit out of his range.

As a general tip, dancing weapons or animals.

Dancing weapons will allow you to cover the battlefield in floating and fighting weapons. Downside, they're expensive (50k base) so you'll only really get one.

Or animals, which are much more interesting. Assaulting a keep? Buy a few elephants, you don't need a battering ram. Stalking a creature? How about trained hawks to circle above them at all times. Need something to help you in combat? Dogs. Need to move from point A to point B fast? Riding dogs or horses. Need to flood a room? Get a bunch of dire rats and fling them at your enemy. Make your Weapon Focus (Improvised weapon) a deadly force to be reckoned with.

Really? Wow. I had just thought it was bonus^2x1000.

A +5 vest is 25k and a +6 is 360k?

Yup. Any resistance bonus past +5 is epic, so subject to a x10 premium on the price.

I'm away from books but if I recall a Ring of 3 Wishes is right about 100K.
