Hi, I was just curious about the total populations of the various D&D worlds (Humanoids, and other sentient races). I was wondering if anyone could tell me the rough populations of these worlds -

Ansalon, Krynn (Dragonlance)
Cerilia, Aebrynis (Birthright)
Athas (Dark Sun)
Toril Pre-spellplague (Forgotten Realms)
Eberron
Scarn (Scarred Lands)
The Demiplane of Dread (Ravenloft)
Oerth (Greyhawk)
Mystara

Just curious. Im guessing the lowest by far will be Athas, and the highest will be Toril.

Problem is a lot of these settings were never fully fleshed out. Mystara, for instance, has two and 2/3 continents that we know nothing about. The Known World + Alphatia, Norwold and Savage Coast (and a couple other countries) are all we have to go on. Sadly, actual population numbers are rare in most supplements.

A couple (http://forum.rpg.net/showthread.php?735071-Population-and-Geography-of-Mystara-Known-World-Countries) people (http://www.google.no/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=7&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0CFIQFjAG&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwiki.mystara.net%2F_media%2Fthe_n ations_of_mystara.doc&ei=iuzqVOrcM8biO4n6gfAK&usg=AFQjCNFpO81QcNtbVc1kKT9OLHqxxyWRxw&bvm=bv.86475890,d.ZWU) have tried to work out some numbers, but that still only takes care of a small amount of the setting.

I know the Five Kingdoms of Khorvaire in Eberron have explicitly stated populations in either Five Nations or the ECS, but I don't have the books on hand, and the rest of the world has no such data that I am aware of.

I'd easily put the total population of that continent well over 5 million.

I don't think there are any numbers given for world populations given, But I have provided a link that should help a bit.
