MUTED MUSICIAN (BARD)
-Performers of a mostly unknown art, muted musicians are bards that bend the shadows to their will through performance. Though the notes are seldom heard by mortal ears, they are resonant with the plane of shadow and thus bring with them very different effects.

-Muted Preformance (Su): Rather than learning the standard array of performances, a muted musician gains the ability to preform to invoke mystical secrets called mysteries. He can use this ability for a number of round per day equal to 4 + his Charisma modifier. For each level after 1st, a muted musician can use muted performance for 2 additional rounds per day. The save DC against any mystery cast using muted performance is equal to 10 + 1/2 the muted musician's level + their Charisma modifier.
-To preform a mystery, a muted musician must have knowledge of the path, be able to cast bard spells of the same level as the mystery they wish to preform, and have a number of ranks in any one preform skill equal to the level in which they would gain access to it (1 for 1st level, 4 for 2nd level, 7th for 3rd level, ect.) Starting a muted performance is a standard action, but it can be maintained each round as a free action for mysteries that have a duration longer than instant. For mysteries with a range of personal or touch, they may effect a number of creatures equal to the muted musician's Charisma modifier within 30ft, including themselves. If the effect does damage directly and has a range of touch however, it may only be used to effect a single target within 30ft.
-At 1st level, a muted musician has knowledge of a single path of mysteries. At 5th level, a muted musician gains knowledge of an additional path of apprentice mysteries. At 10th, 15th, and 20th level, a muted musician gains knowledge of either a path of apprentice mysteries or a path of initiate mysteries. All muted performances have visual components, but they may be preformed using any preform skill. Even if the associated preform skill normally produces noise, it does not when being used to cast a mystery using muted performance. When using muted performance, observers can make a DC 15 Perception check to note that the muted musician's shadow is moving independently of the muted musician. For the purpose of meeting prerequisites and being effected by feat and other such enhancements, muted performance counts as bardic performance. This replaces the Bard's Bardic Performance.

-Spells: Given the curious nature of the muted musician's abilities, their spells lack verbal components but all possess somatic components. When casting a spell, observers can make a DC 15 Perception check to note that the muted musician's shadow is moving independently of the muted musician. This alters the Bard's Spellcasting ability.
