Fun with Fire

Hello! I started a new character and I wanted to make him sort of a fire... guy. So far I have the combination of flaming arrows, spell storing arrows (daylight), multishot, and pyrotechnics if anyone can think of anything else cool to do with fire please comment. :smallsmile:

It would help to know what your playing. Are you a caster, an Alchemist, a Rogue, or just a guy who REALLY likes fire?

Well thats an interesting combo, well Wall of Fire is a must, may as well grab wall of coldfire while your at it.

You'll want the Searing Spell metamagic feat so you can burn fire elementals to death.

Metamagic song persisted energy admixture fiery wreath of flames with a ring of mystic fire and pyro.
Each successful melee attack you make deals an additional +16d6+32 (88 avg) fire damage. Opponents (excluding allies) also take this damage if they are adjacent to you at the start of your turn.

You can use the same added effects on fire shield. Requires more more bard-related focus than wizard but it's possible to reduce metamagic costs as a wizard easily enough.

Energy substitution plus searing spell is the best combo ever! (All spells are fire plus fire is very hard to resist)

Don't take spell thematics. The feat is redundant, and overall pretty terrible. In the Dungeon Master's Guide, on page 34, is a passage giving you the greenlight to fluff your spells as you see fit.
