Hello, Playground.

I was contemplating creating a character based off of a vehicle he would maneuver, but I am unable to find anything pertaining to the creation of vehicles that are usable in combat, or vehicles that are already similar to what I desire.

The specific vehicle I had in mind was a Goblin Shredder from the Warcraft series (pictures, for those unaware: http://fc08.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2012/222/3/2/goblin_shredder_by_mimicskull-d5ajs9j.jpg and http://img4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20080314182046/wowwiki/images/1/1e/Warsong_shredder.JPG).

Any information relating to the subject is useful.

Thanks.

D20 Modern/Future had rules for creating Mecha, which is what you're likely after. The rules can be found on an SRD and are thus legal for me to point out where and how access.

Specifically, if you would go look online for "D20 Modern SRD" and look up "Mecha" you'll get what you're looking for. The bad news: the prices rely on mechanics not found in 3.5 or Pathfinder, in short, you'll have to come up with gold prices yourself. However, you'll have the mecha you want. No sure as to whether or not it'll be balanced.

1) Animated objects.

2) Animated weapons on animated objects.

3) Mechanical and magical traps carried around by animated objects.

4) Stronghold builder's guide.

You can find purchase DC-to-dollar conversion tables in d20 Modern and d20 Future. That could give you an idea on how to work up the gold piece cost.

And someone on this forum a long time ago made a Progress Level 0-4 (stone age through to renaissance) set of options for that mecha system. Sadly, I can't find it now.

Edit:

Found it, kinda. Dead link.

In urban arcana it gives $20 as equalling 1 gp in d20 modern, so that should help with conversion.
