Every 5 years the Tyranny of New Crima (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showsinglepost.php?p=18216040&postcount=37)hosts are series of dangerous trials and challenges they call the Game of Death. The winner of the Game become's Reigning Champion Heir for 5 years, until the next game.

In the event of the current Tyrant's death, the Champion Heir replaces them as the new Tyrant in a lifetime appointment. The winner of the 511 games shall be the one to replace the current Tyrant, Khoonbish the Inhuman, following her death sentence by the Tyrannic Parliament.

The game's are a team sport, designed to test the leadership skills of each contestant.
Each player must gather their own teams, who will be collectively tested on their discipline, loyalty to each other and their leader, as well as the diversity and strength of their collective skills.

While not every team is sure to suffer casualties, each Game of Death sees at least one team with no survivors.

The requirements for entry are that the leading contestant of each team be a Cree Citizen, educated from adolescence onward in the Tyrant's public schools. The contestant may be from Motherland of New Crima itself, or any of the Umajin Frontier provinces. It's worth noting that many of the challenges are designed to insure that no team leader is a stand in or puppet for one of the members of their team.

Who are the contestants for this game?
Who are the contenders for the Tyrant's Throne?

Here's a page with a list of Mongolian names: Link (http://www.s-gabriel.org/names/baras-aghur/mongolian.html)
Here's a more concise list, mentioning the custom of unusual or disturbing names, which I've made a significant part of Cree culture: http://danielroy.tripod.com/cgi-bin/alternate/mongolia/Names.html

All else fails, type a descriptive word into English to Mongolian Google Translate (https://translate.google.com/).

Here's a post containing some Fluff regarding rare and elite Cree Bloodknights: http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showsinglepost.php?p=18223741&postcount=716
Here's the post where I formally introduced the Cree Inquisition: Link (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showsinglepost.php?p=18391166&postcount=777)
Other notable Cree "Elite" Professions are students of the Univeristy at Ryanzen Bay (described here (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?378543-Ryazen-Bay-City-of-Smoke-and-Lighting-Book-Keeping-and-Chit-chat)) and Animistic Shamans, who through the use of Cana Beans and Fruxtkorp'r are said to be able to speak with ghosts and elemental spirits.

Please post interest if you're not up to posting a competitor right away.

The ultimate winner will be determined by an unmodified 2d6 dice roll. Unmodified that is, unless foreign nations devote resources toward supporting specific challengers. :smallwink:

EDIT: How other nations can interfere.
Each sub-action in a round post describing the way in which that nation supports a given candidate adds +2 to that candidate's roll.
Each nation that spends one of their Round Actions to interfere adds one of their ruler's attributes, depending on the type of action chosen, to the contestant's roll.

Both are cumulative, but only one form of interference per nation.

Name: Inquisitor Juchin Yekedash the Unheard Whisper

Background and Personal Talents: An Inquisitor given many unusual and strange missions by Inquisitor Genbu, (then) Apprentice Finger Inquisitor Juchin was trusted to complete increasingly important tasks. Oddly, everyone - even some Cree - seem to just ignore him. His is a very unassuming nature, and if he were in a crowd of two people - even wearing the colorful Inquisitor uniform - Juchin couldn't be identified. He lacks a great deal of the grandiose temperaments present in most who call New Crima their home. Many of Juchin's Inquisitorial colleges are mystified as to how or even why he finally made full Inquisitorial status. For many years, he has been the butt of many jokes within the Inquisitorial staff. Whether it is on purpose or just comes naturally to him, (now) Palm Inquisitor Juchin is often overlooked... and perhaps... underestimated?

Appearance and Personality: On a document statement within Inquisitor Juchin's file, written by a fellow Palm:

Juchin is very bland. He has no distinguishing marks of any kind. His eyes, by many reports, are grey. Or blue. Or green. No one has really taken the time to figure it out. It's not really worth the effort. It's Juchin after all. He's... he's... well, he's Genbu's errand boy.

Who do you send to investigate the new deli down the street for your lunch?
Inquisitor Juchin.

Who did you send to pick up the uniforms from the clothes washers?
Inquisitor Juchin.

Who do you send to get reports regarding publicly announced statements from foreign nations?
Inquisitor Juchin.

Who do you send to wake up the Inquisitorial Monster Rats?
Inquisitor Juchin.

Who cares about what he looks like. He's a joke. A nobody. A less than nobody.
Further followup for the Inquisitor whom wrote this is, sadly, impossible. If they are alive, they are a terrible representation of New Crima. If they are dead, no one knows where the body is.

Summarized Team Composition: Team Yekedash is comprised of:
Junshin Yekedash
His Inquisitorial Monster Rat Batunegan
Bloodknight Avirtai the Vast-and-Mellow
Finger Inquisitor Naidakh the Silencer-of-Ears
Professor Engiin Unegen the Silver Father
Apprentice Shaman Batuldzii the Unnamed

Name: Naraanbatar the Ever-Cackling

Background and Personal Talents: Naraanbatar was born in the Motherland to a pair of Inquisitors. He entered the ranks of the Bloodknights relatively young, though his career stalled for many years due to a feud with one of his instructors. That instructor mysteriously passed away by falling off of the Motherland, and since then Naraanbatar has climbed the ranks at light speed. He's known for laughing uproariously at nothing whatsoever and starting fights for no discernible reason. Strangely, he's never actually lost a fight that started from sheer rage. Oh he's lost a few, certainly, but never angrily.

Naraanbatar excels at small-group tactics and the destruction of enemy morale. He is also an expert of making his own allies both inspired by and afraid of him at the same time. He falters more in massive battle and doesn't seem to care the slightest bit for letting his allies perish (he has more than once laughed at the manner in which his allies have died) but that's not necessarily a bad thing in a contest like this.

Appearance and Personality: Naraanbatar seems to almost constantly be in a state of near-hysterics. He has a massive scar across his chest, and several smaller ones all across his arms. He's actually pretty short for a blood knight, though his voice carries a deep, booming presence that makes it difficult to look down on him. His skin is the dark bronze of a life spent in the sunlight, and his hair is shaved off.

While his life was largely unremarkable on paper, his actual psychological profile is... an interesting one. Naraanbatar really loves a good joke, you see. Nothing makes him happier than a nice big guffaw, and nothing makes him angrier than ignoring his jokes. This wouldn't be much of a problem for anyone, except most of his jokes suck so badly no one can tell he's making a joke. So most of the time he'll be halfway into the middle of a rage for no adequately explained reason, but at the same time he'll be laughing at you. So what he's thinking is actually pretty hard to pin down.

Summarized Team Composition:

Cheren (Naraanbatar's personal pegasus)
Chinua the Immortal (Arslan's Twin, Finger Inquisitor)
Arslan Batcholon (Chinua's Twin, Finger Inquisitor)
Qoorchi the Ever-Twitching (Professor)
Qoorchi's baby monstrous rat (why is it even here?!)
Nameless (Animistic Shaman, mute. Others just use curse words to refer to him [their favorite appears to be 'A**hole'])

Name: Laelneth "Heart of the Night" Nalraen(-Nisakovich)

Background and Personal Talents:
Born in the year 462 in the city of Ryazen Bay to Niskovian parents, Laelneth has lived almost her entire life in Crima. Her father Wovirl had moved to Crima so as to make a living as a tailor... many believe that he was actually in Crima as a spy for the Niskovian Crown - such talk is of course unsubstantiated rumour as no proof that Wovirl was anything other than a tailor was ever uncovered.
In 480 the Nalraen family returned to Niskovia after the sudden death of Laelneth's younger brother. Yet she knew that she would one day return to Crima and so continued to pay taxes as required by Cree custom.
It wasn't long before Laelneth was entered into an arranged marriage but in 505 she was released from her obligation to House Nisakovich and made a return to Ryazen Bay, settling into a life as a lecturer in the field of Western History. Laelneth provides a somewhat unique perspective in this area, having learnt history from not only a Cree perspective but a Feran and Niskovian one as well and is one of the foremost experts in this area.

As a hybrid, Laelneth has most of the advantages from her Niskan and Karranan heritage; superior visual and auditory acuity to most species, the preternatural ability to know when she is being approached, minor empathy (most effective with other empathic peoples) and the Niskan tendency to bait all-powerful beings even when it seems unwise. She does however lack the magick awareness common to Niskans.

Aside from these natural advantages, Laelneth claims to be fluent in Trade Tongue and five other languages (including Niskan, the Cree tongue, the Ashenite tongue and 2 that she has neglected to name) and shares the Niskan fondness for small concealable blades. Curiously, Laelneth is seemingly able to hold a conversation without uttering a single word - whether this is a fae trait is unknown. Also, she has long been a student of grand strategy, excelling in both the Haljan game of Menä and the Niskan game of Shakhmaty.

Appearance and Personality:
Laelneth is 3/4 Karranan and as such has the grey skin, silver eyes and delicately pointed ears typical of their people. Unlike their people she has red hair and is of short stature, features inherited from her Nisakovich grandmother. Notably, her fingers and forearms feature a latticework of fine scars - a testament to many hours of fencing. Laelneth prefers fine clothing and enjoys mixing Niskan casual with Cree traditional. She eschews the formal gown as she is not fond the reminder of her status in Niskovia.

There is a presence about Laelneth, she learned at a young age that she would never be able to blend in amongst the Cree with her exotic looks. And so she made this an advantage, working on her charm to such an extent that she can speak like the quintessential politician with few people ever realising. That and nothing ever phases her, either Laelneth has truly seen it all or she is just that good at making that seem to be the case.
For all her seeming gregariousness, Laelneth keeps her true motives a secret. Not even those closest to her know if she enters the Game of Death to become a Niskovian puppet-ruler or truly for the Cree.

Summarised Team Composition:

Shidiin: this Cree scholar is considered by many to be an expert in the field of magicks.
Selem: this 'junior' Bloodknight is the son of one of Laelneth's childhood friends. Laelneth 'requested' his aid as payment for a debt owed to her by Selem's parents.
Basteln: one of those rare Haljans to have made a life for themselves outside the Commonwealth. Basteln is a tinker and claims a century of experience.
Meri Odoevsky: claiming to have a single Niskan grandparent, Meri wields a Niskan long-sword with great skill.

Name: Solongo the Possessed (age:37)

Background and Personal Talents: Solongo was born and raised on the steppes. His family was among the first to take to pegasi, and had a long tradition as horse breeders before that. That was the life they had planned for him, and what he was prepared for. The spirits had a different plan however. At the age of fourteen Solongo was taken by a deathly illness. For weeks he was comatose, kept only alive by force feeding and prayer. The family reached out to a local shaman for help, but after six weeks comatose even he was forced to give up. Funerary rites were prepared and a pegasus was slaughtered to carry his soul to the Father Sky. With a heavy heart his father wrapped him in the beast's flayed skin, but then a miracle occurred! Solongo's eyes opened wide and he shrieked. The gods had seen fit to return him.

Since then Solongo has made a name for himself as a powerful shaman. The spirits would take him in powerful fits and convulsions, and upon his return he always held great knowledge. He rid many of sickness and evil spirits. In more recent years he has taken to heavy use of fruxtkorp'r and cana beans. Supposedly his eyes were pale white behind the elaborate mask he wore. Solongo has no desire to be the Tyrant, but the spirits task him to do so, and he must obey. They whisper secrets to him, and claim a great terror is coming that he must avert.

Appearance and Personality: Like most shamans Solongo's method of dress is eclectic. He wears the soft horse leather clothing common on the steppes, but also an elaborate mask fashioned of a pegasus skull and many colors of paint. Strapped to his back he wears the wings of the pegasus he claims carried him to the gods. Since it took him there in his first death, he believes it is bound to him until it is time for him to return. The feathers of it's wings are painted stark white and covered in writing, and the underside is covered in small silver bells.

Solongo is quiet and serious until the spirits overtake him, then he goes into fits of screaming and wailing. At times, when the spirits are strong, he will collapse to the ground in convulsions. His faith is overwhelming at times. Those who follow him claim he is the voice of the gods and believe he can work through them.

Summarized Team Composition:*WIP* The members of Solongo's team all have one thing in common. When they were at their lowest he found them and helped them to stand proud. They are fearless in his presence.

Sycophant Chechejin the Leper (a monstrous man; huge and numb to pain from his disease; Solongo appeared to him in a vision and convinced him not to commit suicide)
Sycophant Delger Gatai the Frenzied (burned over half his body; thin and frail in appearance, but incredibly quick with a knife; Solongo helped him over his fear of fire)
Sycophant Suredei the Unsound (scholar)
Sycophant Bokejin the Ardent (fighter)
Sycophant Jaguchar the Zealot (thief)
Sycophant Shriaqan the Mad (disgraced Inquisitor)

Borderlands

Name: Kahn Khazüül Iniggo Meztlan Djoser Ögedei Frederick John Cassius Brutus Xavier Roberts Vitrius Wolfgang Amadeus Aethelgrun Gloria Muqin Temujin Giorno Jonas Tailong Diao Wulong Wing Adolf Georg Kuken Ner Bichigch ("The Name-Taker")

Background and Personal Talents: Ner Bichigh is a capable duelist, charming story-teller and semi-professional murderer. The komola was born in a small village in Penoccident as the son of a hunter. From a young age, his life was often in danger from the beasts that dwell within Penoccident's inland woods and canyons. The day of his first hunt, he managed to kill a particularly large beast, a feat of which he was tremendously proud. Once they had returned, the kill was claimed by the leader of the hunting party, and none would believe Ner Bichigch was the one to truly fell the creature. With his pride damaged, Ner Bichigch fell into a silent rage, and he killed the elder hunter in the night. He bound him to his bed and ensured to wake him before he cut his lower jaw from his head. He decided that he would take from others what none other would be able to take from him: their names. From that moment on, any whom he has killed, he has taken the name of, granting them enough time to tell him their name themselves if he does not know it yet and leaving them within an inch of their life if they do not give it up. He moved to Cridan seventeen years ago and, finding himself strangely at home among the Cree, allowed himself to be taught in their schools. Knowing of the Game of Death, he vowed early on that he would become the Champion before he would pass from this world, and take the names of those who would fail before him.

Appearance and Personality:

http://www.beastsofwar.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/Dark-Sword-Rabbit-Ranger.jpg
Summarized Team Composition:

Kublai "Makh" ("The Meat"), a skillful warrior who uses a meat-cleaver as a weapon.
Wiz the Hanged Man, a Cree shaman, who often argues with Kahn about spiritual matters, but yet his loyalty to him is unquestionable.
Enebish the Hierophant, a Cree Ascensionist priest and Terbish's older cousin.
Terbish the Empress, a Cree warrior who insists on female pronouns and Enebish's younger cousin.
Belruel the Ranger, a capable horseman, Belruel was recruited early on by Ner Bichigch for the express purpose of one day becoming the Champion. However, she died from the ravages of age a decade ago, and Ner Bichigch did not discover this until much later, as the team was loose and kept little contact unless it was felt necessary.
"The Martyr", recruited after Belruel's death, she's a gaunt and pale form of a person who carries with her a sickle as her weapon of choice, but also carries a staff during travels.

Name: Kyllikki "Saikhan" ("The Sweet")

Background and Personal Talents: Born in 492 as the daughter of Li Aarne Krii Valkoinen, third in line for the Silver Throne, Kyllikki was also the daughter of a commoner woman and thereby not a member of her father's House by Salterri law. Once her brother Aimo was born, her father decided to have them move to Cridan, where they might enjoy an environment less scorned by the nobles that he often met with. There she enjoyed her education in adolescence and learned to embrace Cree values, even as she maintained the outlook on life given to her by her father and grandfather.

Kyllikki's fingers are scarred from working as the apprentice to a tailor prior to settling into the life of an educated woman of status. She is very well-read and knowledge in many fields, but only apt enough in the martial arts to defend against barely skilled assailants, and her skill for many typical feminine crafts is legendary to the point of those near to her having forbidden her from ever touching any pans or needles again. She is, however, an incredibly talented painter and a desirable model.

Appearance and Personality: Kyllikki is a slender young woman with skin as white as chalk, ruby red eyes and bright, mossy green hair. Her fingers are scarred from her past work and she has a small burn mark under her left eye. She typically dresses in tunics of brown leather if she's not wearing a finely-woven dress as she most often does.

She is kind, but has learned to be harsh, following her family's philosophy of treating others with "an iron palm".

Summarized Team Composition:

Inquisitor Karazen, a stern woman with hair of carmine red and a blade that has tasted many shades more. She is a capable leader and functions as Kyllikki's second-in-command.
Lkhagvasüren the Magician, a woman with several facial tattoos and piercings and more across the entirety of her body, she has not lived a day without oracular inhalation, consumption or drink and the results it brings with it.
Medekhui the Sea-Devil [link (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showsinglepost.php?p=18364191&postcount=6)], a competitor in the Seaborne Regatta at the Third Tellurian Games and third placer in a prior Game of Death, Medekhui has sworn herself, her ship and her crew to Kyllikki after being convinced she would make a good choice as she saw much of herself in her. The fact that she hailed from a line famous for winning and employing a battle style centered around drinking a lot only made her more interested.
Ogtbish Poison-Blood [link (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showsinglepost.php?p=18364191&postcount=6)], a competitor in the Aerial Race at the Third Tellurian Games, he has proven himself to be a quick thinker and possessive of an incredible endurance, strong stomach and keen senses. For these skills, he was contacted by Kyllikki after Medekhui had joined the team, as the two had met before on separate occassions with the necessary sense of rivalry, but nonetheless a great respect for one another.
"Sir" Varvara Odoevsky [link (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showsinglepost.php?p=18294813&postcount=5)], a mercenary hired by Ru Chugal, Kyllikki's personal butler.
Alstin Buried Lord [link (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showsinglepost.php?p=18298105&postcount=8)], having met Kyllikki in Crima during a diplomatic voyage on which she accompanied her father, Alstin has sworn himself to her in recognition of a kindred spirit aiming high for a better spot on the social ladder after having fallen low by circumstance and the wiles and intrigues of nobles and warlords.
Jignemeg ("Cookie"), a dark-skinned man who used to be a sailor, but now works as Kyllikki's personal bodyguard. Excellent cook, in addition to being a strongman, though there may be something sinister to his cooking sometimes...

Name: Kherüül Khazuulsan ("The Bite" [The Frostbitten])

Background and Personal Talents: Kherüül is a Rijwak shaman, 60 years of age but still as hardy as any young Rijwak. Kherüül prefers to be referred to by female pronouns, but the fact is that she was born hermaphroditic. An outcast from an early age, she had to reconcile herself with her unique status as neither man nor woman. The Rijwak saw her not as a woman, for she'd be unlikely to bear children, but neither was she a man, as she was clearly unworthy of such low status at the same time. Occupying a nebulous rift on the social ladder, Kherüül began to devote herself to what lay outside the Rijwak society and immersed herself in the faith and in the grander Cree culture.

When the war with Pavonia began, she enlisted to prove her zeal to the spirits and her devotion to the Tyranny. She fought in several grand battles, but she barely survived her last, having lain in a pool of the frozen blood of her slain enemies. Only with the diligent work of doctors could she be saved, but to this day she bears the scars of those years. She lost her lower legs, her left arm and her right eye and ear.

Appearance and Personality:

Summarized Team Composition:

Nrööd Teneg the Devil, a half-Salterri Cree man of an upbringing slightly too aristocratic to make him likeable for most Cree, Nrööd Teneg is nevertheless probably the most capable on Kherüül's team when it comes to survival in the wild and getting through a fight, by never being in it in the first place. Nrööd's two older brothers are both defectors from the Inquisition, and Nrööd studied the arts of tracking, investigation and infiltration closely to find them and cleanse their family name... is what he'll tell you. Never trust those who are a master of subterfuge, especially with regards to their life story.
Inquisitor "Half", a small man with a quick blade, named because he hardly ever finishes his sentences--or at least that's what they tell him. Should he ever learn that it is because of his size or the fact that he misses two fingers on one hand...
Erdenetsetseg, a Rijwak eunuch, former Professor of the University of Ryazen Bay
Vajros, pet monster rat of Erdenetsetseg, rumoured to have been taken from Stuyvesant's lab long ago
Naran and Saran the Lovers, twin brothers who have been servants to Kyllikki since the earliest days she can remember, Naran and Saran are a lech and a deviant respectively.
Wrap the Charioteer, a man who rides a two-horse chariot with blades on the wheels. He loves the chariot so much he sleeps in it.

Name: Bolon "Terzaluu" ("That Guy" in Cree Frontier Newspeech)

Background and Personal Talents: A Vantal of a family from the White Forest.

Appearance and Personality:

Summarized Team Composition:

Troil the Tinker, this... creature is best described as a huge, mangled crow the size of a pony with large, bony hands. It appears to be highly intelligent. Bolon can communicate with it and it takes orders from him, and it has a knack for taking objects and tools apart, whether strong and solid or delicately mechanical in nature. How Bolon came upon it, the two have never told.
Ffuahilumek the Tailor, a woman who, underneath her clothes, is wrapped in strange-smelling linens with only the lower half of her face and fingers visible and covered in burns. She is apt with a blade and appears to be knowledgeable in many "civilized" subjects. People whisper she hails from Kemuliaan, but her build and tone of what little skin is visible mark her as unmistakably Vantal.
Aminoff the Soldier, a hulking Vantal brute of 9 feet tall who often abuses Troil. He joined the Cree army as soon as they entered Vantalaan and has been fanatic in their hunting down the dragons in the southern regions. He swore himself to Bolon, seeing the opportunity to put a Vantal in the Tyrant position as something he could hugely benefit from. He wears haphazardly-fashioned armour made out of the bones of dragons he has slain, having long discarded his old armour.
Stivyen the Spy, has little to be said about him. He's delightfully average in appearance, which has made him an excellent spy in life.
Inquisitor Knaghuudas the Tower, a woman with decades of experience in the field, and a distinguished bureaucrat. She is ruthlessly efficient and completely obedient to her superiors. In battle, she utilizes a pair of tower shields covered in long, thin spikes coated in poison. "No offense as good as a good defense," she has stated to be her philosophy.
Laurentizo Mifi, a local bureaucrat in Ryazen Bay who has a great legacy.

Stat Rolls (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showsinglepost.php?p=18888843&postcount=485)
Oracle Roll (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showsinglepost.php?p=18896872&postcount=506)

The child of a Cree family ancient and noble enough to have stood proudly in the dark times of the False Khaliphate, yet not so opulent and imperial to have perished in the Cleansing, Sarnai Eats-the-Eyes is a master manipulator, a cunning strategist, and above all else a patriot. In short, the ideal candidate for the Inquisition. However, inexorably tied to his love for his country are Sarnai's own ambitions, which run to his very core. He earned his name for two particular talents - the ability to silence dissension and betrayal in the ranks of the Inquisition, and his rare talent for turning the spies and informants of criminal cartels and even other nations to Crima's side. Though some might wonder how he developed these skills when his record claims he was stationed in a backwater village in the first years of his career, in truth Sarnai was one of the few Cree entrusted with the knowledge of the Tyranny's secret alliance with the Concordat of Frost and Flame, and served as an undercover Cree representative in the east for several years. Though still only in his thirties, he maintains a reputation as the man the Inquisition sends to root out treachery and failings in their own ranks, and was in fact the one to uncover the betrayal of Tzalteclan's research to Sycia.

Standing shorter than average at five feet six inches, Sarnai does not present an intimidating figure. In fact he is relatively slight, and has on a few occasions disguised himself as a woman. However, his frame belies a wiry strength and natural agility that make him a capable combatant. With short black hair and deep emerald eyes, he manages to appear rather dashing when no in some form of disguise, which is to say infrequently. He is cool-headed and silent in all but the most stressful situations, preferring a vaguely threatening whisper even when addressing his friends. To call him a sociopath would be unkind, but the fact remains that Sarnai manages a detachment rare even in the Inquisition, and his wrath is a cold thing that may take months or years to come to fruition.

The Blind

Sarnai Eats-the-Eyes: Leader, and contestant in the Game of Death.
Toluijin the Liar: Ostensibly a simple tailor working in Ryazen Bay, Toluijin the Liar is in fact one of the Tzaltec Unmarked permanently stationed in Crima. Recruited to help the lone Concordat loyalist participating in the Game of Death, she presents an unassuming figure, but is as deadly as any of her kind. Deadlier, perhaps, after her long association with the Cree.
Vachirdai the Coward: A Bloodknight and one of Sarnai's few childhood friends, Vachirdai firmly believes in Sarnai's ability to lead the Cree into a better tomorrow in an uncertain time. Though skilled in arms as any Bloodknight must be, Vachirdai's specialty was diplomacy - his silvered tongue has opened many doors, and he has quite the reputation as a ladies man.
Galgelgei the Fool: Leader of one of the criminal gangs that makes up Silk Fish Harbor, Galgelgei fell into Sarnai's inner circle early in the Inquisitor's career. Sarnai has often used him as a hidden knife against those criminal elements from other nations attempting to make inroads in Crima, and it was Galgelgei's gang and others like them that provided the lion's share of the information on Stuyvesant once he'd gone to ground. A capable thief and leg-breaker, Galgelgei is a skilled infiltrator who is also gifted with a broad understanding of foreign languages and cultures.
Chinualun the Murderous: A sage from the University of Ryazen Bay, Chinualun's specialty is in history, primarily Cree but also that of their neighbors. However, she is something of a renaissance woman, being well read in a wide variety of topics and also a moderately celebrated artist in Ryazen Bay. Though she has little close combat expertise, her family's hope that she might become a Bloodknight led to training with a shortbow that has not been allowed to fall away entirely.
Temujin the Weakling: A sapper and combat engineer from the Criman army, Temujin was involved in both the pacification of Vantalaan and the cleansing of Miskaton. Blessed, or perhaps cursed, with a sense of humor as black as pitch, the horrors he has witnessed seem to have affected him little if at all. Certainly, one presumes he would not have been chosen by Sarnai had he lacked the mettle to compete in the Game of Death.
