The city of Ardmore used to be one of the most prosperous cities in the world. Located on a major trade route and with a vast natural port, Ardmore was the richest city-state in the world. Now it is in desperate straights. The zombie invasion has destroyed 3/4ths of the trade that moved though it, replacing it with thousands of refugees looking to get away from the horrors of war. The city has sealed off it's walls, trying it's best to defend the original inhabitants. Only those willing to help defend the city are allowed to enter.
It is here that you find yourself. Only a few months from the start of the invasion, you have heard and seen the zombie numbers bloat to extreme sizes. Making whole nations bow before their might and numbers. The moment of truth approaches, if the zombie horde isn't stopped now the entire continent will be swallowed up in this horrible blight.
