(Not sure if this goes here, but I'm gonna hope it does?)

So, I'm sure many of us have a set of dice – maybe even 2, or 3, or maybe 10. Some of them pretty and elaborate. Some of them simple and elegant. Some of them are meh loaner sets, or just really worn out. Some are bought as a set, some are gifts, some are just what you could scrounge up at the nearest local game shop. Regardless of where they come from, they're our beloved dice.

I WANT TO SEE THEM ALL

Show off your sets or collections here. I want to know about them, where they're from, where they've been. Tell me your dice stories, or anything you want to say about 'em.

My own dice:

These guys are spare loaner sets. I don't actually have a lot of dice sadly, but I'm working on my little collection. The green ones are my friend's old set, the grey ones are a set I specifically got to let people borrow.

I have too many dice to post in pictures here.
I'm a firm believer that you can not have too many dice. I'm sad that I didn't have anough money to get a full pitcher of dice from the Chessex box when I was at UK Games Expo a few years ago.
At the Chessex stand, they had a box of about 2x2x2 foot filled with assorted dice, and you could either get a large coffee mug of dice for £6 or a huge pitcher for £20. You basically just dug the mug (or pitcher) into the box of dice and got what you fished out. I only had enough for two mugs o'dice, unfortunately.

It's great for any role playing group or board gaming group if you have a lot of spare dice, since there's always someone who's missing one or two, or forgot to bring theirs.

Edit:
Then, of course, there are the Meet-Dice I had made for the UK Playground meetup a few year ago.

Everyone that made it to the meetup got a pair of these dice, and a few people who didn't make it got some as well.

You don't have to take pictures of the sets seperately~ You can take one photo of your entire set if you want – I enjoy seeing the sheer amount of dice some people have. I really want more, and I was thinking of getting a "pound-o-dice" bag from Chessex. Something about their dice has me pretty much sold and brand loyal.

Summoning Kevin Cook, summoning Kevin Cook...

In case you don't know who he is, he's this (http://www.dicecollector.com/) guy.

I should take some pictures of my sets, I know I have quite a lot. I expanded into my second bag recently and have a third started since I started DMing my own campaign. New dice and a new bag for my first DMing, I figured it works.

My wife has quite a few dice as well, but not quite as many as me. Between us, we probably have a few hundred dice. Most are sets, but there are the odd, pretty mismatched ones.

Never can have enough dice, totally a firm believer in that. Its an addiction that needs fed now and then too.

Somewhere over a thousand. I haven't counted in a while. Whole sets, partial sets, singles, weird face counts, etc.

I no longer do face to face RPGs, though, so I never use them and I've stopped buying them. No point.

I can tell you that the holder of world record of the most dice collection in the world is in fact a gitp poster.

I forgot what's his nickname though, but he used to have a thread about it here.

edit: whoops, ninjaed

We've gotten some nice 6-sided dice from special events at the comic book store where we play our Pathfinder games.

What sort of dice bags do you have? My wife makes some out of anodized-aluminum chainmail.
