Anyone know of any resources for this? Working on some adventure modules and while I'm sure I could freestyle it I am curious to see how others have approached the challenge.

Utterly ignore the 2E stats, and simply make everything by the 3X rules. At most, use the 2E stats as vague suggestions.

There WAS a conversion manual for 2E to 3.0 officially written by Skip Williams. Find and use that, then use the 3.0 to 3.5 conversion rules that exist on WOTC's website.

Pretty much this. You basically have to strip the adventure down entirely and rebuild it to fit the PCs.

if I remember correctly, it was given away free, and can be legally posted in full, if someone can confirm that for me, when I have time this weekend I could post it

edit doesn't matter, I found a link in the wotc archives

Cool. Did they ever do anything like that for 1e? Maybe two conversion guides we could match up?

AD&D and 2e are similar enough in system and function that you could pretty much just use the 2e guide to convert AD&D characters.
