Musketeer

Knights are heavily armored defenders of the realm, but not all defenders of the realm are wear suits of iron tight around themselves. Others are more lightly armored, agile masters of the parry and art of the sword. Musketeers are these swashbuckling knights and guardians of the realm.

Changes:

Skills: A musketeer adds Balance, Diplomacy (why don't knights get this?), and Tumble to their class skill list.

Weapon and Armor Proficiencies: A musketeer is not proficient in medium or heavy armor. They gain proficiency in fire arms if used.

Weapon Finesse: At 1st level a musketeer gains Weapon Finesse as a bonus feat.

Skilled Parry: At 2nd level a musketeer gains the ability to add their Charisma modifier, up to their Musketeer level to their AC as long as they are able to move, wear light or no armor, and wield a one handed weapon and no shield.

Mounted Combat and Shield Parry: A musketeer does not gain mounted combat or shield parry at 2nd level.

Agile Blade: Beginning at 4th level a musketeer adds their Dexterity modifier to damage with finessable weapons in addition to their Strength bonus. They do not gain Armor Mastery (Medium).

Improved Parry: Beginning at 9th level a musketeer adds an additional +1 to their AC from Skilled Parry. They do not gain Armor Mastery (Heavy).

Bonus Feats: A Musketeer selects from a different bonus feat list than a normal Knight. They may select: Combat Expertise, Combat Reflexes, Dodge, Great Fortitude, Improved Disarm, Improved Initiative, Iron Will, Lightning Reflexes, Mobility, Negotiator, Point Blank Shot, Quick Draw, Spring Attack, Weapon Focus (pistol, musket, or rifle), or Whirlwind Attack.
