STYGIAN (ABERRANT SUB-ARCHETYPE)
-Not dissimular to aberrants, stygians are aegises that use ectoplasm to augment and enhance their bodies. Unlike their counterparts, however, stygians regularly force themselves into and out of a state akin to undeath when they augment their form, replicating abilities seen in a verity of undead, ranging from the corporeal and relatively mundane to even at times a fleeting incorporeal l state. While those who being the practice shift between a normal form to that of an undead, the continued use of this ability leaves it mark on the user, twisting them and often leaving the appearance of undeath even when their form isn't being actively augmented by their abilities.

The stygian archetype is a sub-archetype of the aberrant archetype (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/psionics-unleashed/classes/aegis/archetypes/dreamscarred-press/aberrant), an archetype of the aegis class (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/psionics-unleashed/classes/aegis).

-Transformative Necrosis (Su): A stygian learns to modify his own form, rather than covering himself in an ectoplasmic suit. The stygian gains a +1 natural armor bonus to his AC. At 5th level and every 5 levels thereafter (10th, 15th, and 20th), the natural armor bonus increases by 1.

-A stygian can modify his form in a fashion similar to the aegis’s customization, but his options are more limited. He can choose customizations from the customization list below, which includes evolutions normally reserved for eidolon. Because the stygian is modifying his own body, he can wear armor as normal.

-The stygian gains the Undead Appearance evolution as a free customization. At 2nd level, the stygian gains Darkvision as a free customization. At 10th level, the stygian gains Fortification as a free customization.

-This ability replaces Transformed Body, which normally replaces Astral Suit.

-Force of Personality: A stygian uses Charisma as his key ability score instead of Intelligence. This includes determining his bonus power points, the number of customization points he can reconfigure, and for how long his augmentations last.

-Vim (Ps): The stygian gains vim as a psi-like ability usable at will at first level as long as he maintains psionic focus.

-This ability replaces Astral Repair.

-Intimidate: Beginning at 2nd level, a stygian gains a +1 bonus to Intimidate checks. At 6th level and every four levels thereafter, this bonus increases by 1.

-This ability replaces Craftsman.

-Psionic Form: At 5th level, the stygian gains 1 hit point for each psionic feat he has. Whenever he takes a new psionic feat, he gains 1 more hit point. These bonus hit points stack with those gained from the Psionic Body feat.

-This ability replaces Master Craftsman.

CUSTOMIZATIONS
-A stygian can select any of the customizations from the following list. Those listed with an ^ are a part of the aberrant's list of customizations. Those listed with an * refer to eidolon evolutions and cost the a number of customization points equal to their normal evolution point value.

-Bite*, Bleed*, Brawn, Burrow, Chameleon, Channel Resistance, Claws*, Climb, Diehard, Energy Resistance, Energy Immunity, Evasion, Fortification, Frightful Presence, Improved Energy Resistance, Improved Evasion, Improved Damage, Improved Damage Reduction, Improved Natural Armor^, Improved Stalwart, Incorporeal Form*, Increased Size, Lifesense*, Nimble, No Breath*, Powerful Build, Push, Pull, Quickened Attacks, Rend*, Shadow Blend*, Shadow Form*, Sickening*, Slam*, Speed, Stalwart, Toxic^, Tremorsense, Undead Appearance, Underwater Breathing, Unnatural Aura*.

I do like the idea of having undead Aegis.

Im glad at least in concept it is liked. In execution, thats another matter. I hope it is balanced. I aimed for balance and in fact it just alters an existing archetype so it should be close balance wise. I considered adding the eidolon evolutions regarding SLAs to help simulate lichdom if one desired, but I would need to put rules regarding redistributing customization points. That and it would increase the number of possible customizations further above the list available to aberrants, so just by diversity that would be an imbalance.

With that, I had an idea for a feat to go with this. I'll just go ahead and post it as part of this post.

Lich-Blooded Stygian
-Necrotic energies run through your thoughts and veins, further enabling you to alter your form and tap into the power of the undead.
-Prerequisites: Transformative Necrosis, Undead Bloodline
-Benefit: For the purpose of level requirements for customizations, add your levels of aegis and the class that granted you the undead bloodline, together. Your caster level in the class that granted you the undead bloodline gains a +2 bonus for the purpose of casting spells so long as this doesn't raise your caster level above your current Hit Dice. In addition, you may add the basic magic, minor magic, major magic, and ultimate magic eidolon evolutions to the list of customizations you may use, with the following changes: Replace stabilize with bleed in basic magic's list, replace burning hands and cure light wounds with chill touch and inflict light wounds in minor magic's list, replace cure moderate wounds and lesser restoration with false life and inflict moderate wounds in major magic's list, and replace cure serious wounds and daylight with inflict serious wounds and vampiric touch in ultimate magic's list. If you have used a spell-like ability from one of these customizations you may not reconfigure points from that customization until you regain the expended uses of that spell-like ability.
