So been meaning to figure out how to do this for a while think I finally got it using monk 2 lvls (evasion) then battle sorcerer from unearthed arcana (not sure how many lvls). Last off throw in enlightened fist and ascetic mage (still counts towards battle sorcerer since its a variant)

Now you can dimension door and atk every turn! Not sure it's a good build but it does what i wanted...

Interesting. Though I can't think of why you'd want to go Battle Sorcerer, when regular Sorcerer works and isn't nearly as bad.

If he's focusing on attacking, it's the better choice unless he's interested in a proper gish build. Monk 2, B Sorc 4 can get sun school at level 6.

I suggest giving your familiar a wand of Benign Transposition. Any teleportation will do, since the d door and step are examples.
