Hi
I'd love some ideas on how to build a Psionic (or Arcane) Infiltrator type.
Race Whisper Gnome. I will want a collar of Umbral Metamorphosis for the "Dark" Template.
Stats 18, 17, 17, 15, 14, 13 (lucked out).
Any build stub ideas? DM is not keen on too much multiclassing, especially when involving Tier 1/2 classes.
I just find Psychic Rogue/Lurk a little underwhelming.
Mobility, Utility, party "Face", Stealth, mental manipulation all priorities. When it comes to combat, am happy enough to resort to powers for BFC.
Most books allowed, anything cheesy or Dragon magazines will need DM approval.
I originally wanted to go Whisper Gnome Rogue 1 / Psion 1 / Swordsage 2 (for Shadow Hand teleports,counters etc.) / Psion X, but DM was unhappy with multiclassing Psion with other classes, and suggested I look at prestige classes for Psion instead of multi-classing.
I may be able to bring him around to Rogue (or Ranger) 1, Psion X, Psion Prestige Class X..
Any ideas for that Shadowy, Infiltrator, Caster/Manifester role?
