The concept of the thread is simple, find people from games/movies/whatever that look like OotS characters.

I'll start with Erk from Fire Emblem:

Edit: I've noticed alot of similarities between Elan and Haley, with Gourry and Lina. However the exact phyiscal appearance really isn't so close.

If V and Haley somehow had a child, that child would be Lina. Maybe.

On the subject of anime/manga characters, have you ever taken a real good look at the protagonist of Battle Angel Alita(or Gunnm as it's known in Japan)? While a bit on the short side, our favorite dark-haired female cyborg Alita has a VERY eerie resemblance to one Miko Miyazaki...

Especially when both of them slip into a rampage. I've seen Alita go bar none psychotic in a fight while reading that manga... though on the flip side, Alita does seem more prone to listen to all sides of the story, rather than jump to conclusions. Still, the physical similarity is quite close.

Not really. Haley could look like any girl ever, which I suppose is an advantage of stick figures. Nothing in the strip has even hinted that Haley might have anything above an average level of attractiveness.

Not really. Haley could look like any girl ever, which I suppose is an advantage of stick figures. Nothing in the strip has even hinted that Haley might have anything above an average level of attractiveness.

Except that she's a rogue and therefore isn't the most accurate character class and every other fact on that character page has been disproven.

Vaarsuvius is indeed "keeper of a thousand arcane secrets," we have yet to see a better tracker than Belker who was also under four feet tall, Durkon seems pretty reliable, Roy is the leader and has prior adventuring experience (OotPC), and we haven't seen enough of Elan's spell selection to determine whether or not he is in fact a master of enchantment. Nothing on that page has been disproven. Furthermore, Haley almost never misses, regardless of her BAB progression. And all of that is irrelevant as the line about her aim being matched only by her beauty is obviously supposed to mean that she's good looking. It didn't hit me until just now, but Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable seem a lot like Haley and Elan. Both Haley and Kim are quite competent (and Kim definitely seems like a Rogue to me) while Elan and Ron are... not. Of course, Elan now has his Dashing Swordsman PrC and Ron has gotten more and more competent as the show progressed. And as of Season 4 Ron and Kim are going out, as are Haley and Elan.

This guy (aka Deobia Oparei) could pass for Roy. He had a part in Moulin Rouge! and this picture is from the movie.(His role was small but he was important to the plot.)

I'm pretty sure I remember Erk being male, but one of the mages in one of the Fire Emblem games was rather androgynous. I don't think it was Erk, but it could've been.

Erk is male. Lucius isn't androgynous. Androgynous people look slightly masculine.
