Is it bad form to start the same thread at different sites? I like posting over at enworld too.

Just to clarify, when you say "sites" do you mean subforums, or actual websites? Theres no problem with starting the same discussion on multiple websites, and if youre trying to sample a lot of different points of view, I would in fact encourage you to do so. But you should probably refrain from creating the same thread in multiple subforums in the GITP forums.

If it's just two sites like that it shouldn't be a problem. But if you start copypasting the same thing over multiple site without at least the minimum of tailoring to the public of each site, it can quickly be understood as spam.

No. Cross pollination is okay. Sometimes routine. As long as it isn't spam or commercial anyway.

Sheriff: Assuming the content is acceptable for this form, the issue is whether you are spamming. If you do this occasionally, on two sites, in good faith, that's fine. If you are just duplicate posting everything here and somewhere else, cross-posting to several forums, or have some nefarious purpose for doing so, that's not fine.
