Why is my thread Title not in bold print??

I didn't really want to open a thread on this topic, but I wasn't able to find a FAQ for the site issues area.

I was just wondering how the thread titles become bold. I wasn't able to use a html code for bold for the title. I just was wondering, and I thought this would be the place to ask.

A thread title is in bold if it has posts you haven't read yet.

It's in normal if all the posts in it are read.
