Is it possible to created a psionic item that would grant me an augmented version of the expansion power? If so, how much would it cost?

Yes. A continuous psionic item costs (Power Level) x (Manifester Level) x 2,000 gp x (Duration modifier), just like a continuous magic item. You'd simply use a higher manifester level to calculate the price, as you need a higher manifester level to augment a power.

Expansion is a level-1 power, costs 1 pp to use, and lasts one round per level. So an item of continuous expansion costs 1 x 1 x 2,000 gp x 4 = 8,000 gp. An item of continuous expansion augmented with 6 extra pp costs 1 x 7 x 2,000 gp x 4 = 56,000 gp.

EDIT: You can also augment expansion with 2 more pp so that it lasts 10 minutes/ML. This cuts the duration modifier from 4 to 1.5, so the resulting item costs 1 x 9 x 2,000 gp x 1.5 = 27,000 gp.
