Does anyone know of a good mid level (8-9th) level Underdark module that I can modify? The party has a psion, a Luchador, warlock, ninja, and a 5th level cohort cleric. I would prefer Derro or Duergar as the enemies, not Drow. Well roleplayed Drow would wreck them.

I am also looking. Nigth below the only truly underdark module I seen, its TSR Add 2e, should be legal to download somewhere.

I've had a look and I could only find 4 official ones, all of which are Drow. Because Drow.

There's a campaign by Paizo (Pathfinder) where they pretend to be drow? (Second Darkness)

Forge of Fury (3.5) seems to be a dwarven complex but it's only for level 3s so changing them all to Duergar may not be enough to make it hard enough for the level 8s.

I can't think of one. But, you may be able to glue together some stuff from these???

The level is off a bit (12 – 15), but the 2nd edition Thoughts of Darkness could possibly fill the role you want. Yes, it's a Ravenloft setting module, but 98% of it occurs underground; you could easily just change it to "normal" underdark.

IIRC, the Mindflayers of Thoon from the MM5 are a touch lower CR than a normal mindflayer (I know the thoon elder brain is much lower CR). Using those in place of the normal mindflayers may help lower the level sufficiently for the range you want. You'll also need the vampire mindflayers, which are found in Lords of Madness.
