No, not this kind! (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?15-Homebrew-Design) I searched the archive and I couldn't find another thread on this topic recently, so here we are.
A friend of mine has recently gotten me into brewing my own beer. I was gonna share some of that information in this thread. I do a partial mash version of extract brewing, where I have some milled grains and some dry or liquid malt extract. Everything happens in 5 gallon batches.
First of all, my buddy suggested that brewing with the intent to bottle is the fastest way to burn out on brewing. Therefore, he suggested kegging! So I built this device out of a chest freezer. Most of the parts were available online. I think it turned out nice.

My first batch was called a "Citralicious IPA". It had 4 oz of Citra hops in it, one of which was dry hopped.
Sugars:
3.3 lbs Light LME
4 lbs Gold Light DME
Grains
1 lb Crystal 40L
.5 lb Cara-Pils
Hops
1 oz Citra @ boil
1 oz Citra @ 30 min
1 oz Citra @ 55 min
1 oz Citra at 7 days (dry hop)
Yeast
White Labs California Ale Yeast US-05
20 minute grain steeping, 60 minute boil.
Sugars
3.3 lbs Amber LME
1 lb golden Light DME
2 lbs Honey
Grains
1 lb Crystal 60L
.5 lb Munich Malt 20L
.25 lb Chocolate Malt
Hops
1.5 oz Cascade @ boil
Yeast
White Labs English Ale
20 minute steeping, 60 minute boil, adding honey in the last 15 minutes
Those ones turned out really yummy. This past 2 weeks I made an Elysian Brewing Co Immortal IPA clone and an Orange Chocolate Dunkel that I'm trying to replicate that my GF tried from the Whistler Brewing Company. I'll edit in the recipes when I have more time.
Anyone else brew? Have any tips? Recipes? Thoughts?
EDIT:
