Just wondering - are Living Greyhawk Gazetteer (http://www.amazon.com/Living-Greyhawk-Gazetteer-Dungeons-Dragons/dp/0786917431) (which I own) and Gazetteer (http://www.amazon.com/Gazetteer-Dungeons-Dragons-Gary-Holian/dp/0786917423/ref=sr_1_29?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1426630857&sr=1-29&keywords=greyhawk) the same product under different publications/covers?

Or are they two totally different items? I'm assuming by the number of pages etc. that these are two distinct books?

Cheers - T

They're two completely different books - the Gazetteer (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dungeons_%26_Dragons_Gazetteer)is supposed to serve as a bit of a sourcebook for the Greyhawk setting, although I don't know how well it does that, while the Living Greyhawk Gazetteer (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Living_Greyhawk_Gazetteer)was supposed to tell you all you needed to know about playing in the Living Greyhawk campaign (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Living_Greyhawk).

From what I can tell the version you have is generally considered superior.

No worries, thanks.

I'm a bit of a Greyhawk nut, so I may end up getting the other one anyway...

I found Gazetteer at a used bookstore near me. Not a bad buy for 5 bucks. It mostly covers Greyhawks kingdoms and such, so if you want that its worth it.
