Assume, for a minute, that you're a high level character who's managed to nab the singular enemy ability of an aleax, and you have a huge number of weapons, each with the spellblade ability, which gives you immunity to a single targeted spell (assume this includes rays and other "I'd hit it" spells).
Aleaxes are immune to any kind of direct attack via creature, but this doesn't preclude other forms of calamity, such as traps.
What "targeted" spells would you take for your amazingly large number of spellblade weapons?
(Psionic) Disintegrate is a definite, as are Wish/Reality Revision and Miracle. (Psionic) Plane Shift is a good one, since getting teleported into the heart of the positive energy plane is definitely less than awesome. Antimagic Ray, for sure. (Greater) Dispel Magic, too. (Psionic) Charm/Dominate (Person/Monster). Mind Rape. And Eternity of Torture.
That's just off the top of my head.
