Artificer Options

I'm looking for a better option for an artificer than what I am hearing from the new books (the Wizard subclass). Does anyone know if there is a good source?

I've been working on my own, but I'm curious if others have better ideas than mine.

I looked those over and hate to say it, but they are a little... not mature concepts yet. You shouldn't need to create new spells for a class that emulates other classes and/or repeat the same issues you had in 3e where they came from.

Both surprised and not surprised so few have tried this. I may have to see what I can come up with myself then.
