Looking for a community of artists willing to do custom work.

Giantitip has helped me a lot in the past, so I'm turning to you guys again for the purposes of getting something commissioned.

I need someone to do a custom picture of http://media.wizards.com/images/magic/daily/features/feature148_v6gtzoeyqf.jpg This. I'm trying to get a playmat made, and the official ones I can't find ANYWHERE. I was hoping to get a custom picture of her done, for the express purpose of making my own playmat(s), strictly for personal use.

Can anyone point me in the direction of people who would be capable of doing this? Preferably high quality, and relatively cheap. :smalltongue:

It does specifically have to be elsewhere though, not here, according to word of Roland (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showsinglepost.php?p=19010849&postcount=2), so no suggesting yourself, or another playgrounder unless you're/they're willing to do it free.


EDIT: To clarify, I just need a piece of custom artwork done. The whole turning it into a playmat process I can handle myself.

2. What style are you looking for? (Same as the original? Full color, too?)
3. What level of "custom" are you looking for?
4. What size are you looking for?

You'll have to answer those first before anyone thinks about taking you up on this. :)

Those are some other pictures of the same character, None of which are done by the original artist, and all of which look just fine to me.

3. Again, I'm willing to work with the artist on this. I wouldn't want it to be exactly the same, but would take anything from some slight deviations to only clearly being the same character and nothing else.

4. Apparently "A resolution of 3675 x 2175 @ 150 PPI is best."

So, it's not custom, but Stoneforge Mystic looks an awful lot like Nahiri, the Lithomancer (Same character design). A quick search found four Nahiri playmats in stock here.

EDIT: I'm even pretty sure Nahiri is a Kor Artificer, just like Stoneforge Mystic. Maybe they are the same person.
