Pathfinder: Arcanist/Witch

Without trawling through large spell lists has anyone had any practice with the Witch Spell list? Would you say that it is directly better than Wizard/Sorcerer?

The party is a Shaman, Hunter and Magus plus possibly this Arcanist.
Shaman will be main healing/debuffing.

Starting at level one and running through Kingmaker Campaign (just to give more context).

If the Shaman is doing the main healing, then I would say that the Witch spell list is decidedly worse than Wizard/Sorcerer. There are very few spells that a Witch gets either before a Wizard does, or gets that a Wizard does not.

Ignoring that, the Witch spell list is deep enough that most of what you want is available, and you get Hexes. Mmmm, tasty hexes.
