Just a theoretical: how many RAW legal templates can you stack on a Human without changing it’s type from Humanoid?

Things like ½ Vampire, ½ Janni etc.

Just a silly theoretical – LA doesn't really matter.

All of them, because the Human Heritage feat exists to take at level 1 and reset the character to Humanoid (Human, augmented pile of types) :smalltongue:

Well, one for every single (predatory/scavengery) animal that's Small, Medium, or Large. Maybe more if size-changing magics are on the table for lycanthropic purposes. That'll pump the numbers up a bit.

Unless getting the Shapechanger subtype would be verboten for this.

Is gaining new subtypes kosher here?

Gaining subtypes is fine.

Good point about the massive number of lycanthropic templates. :smalltongue:

What happens if you take both Dragonwrought and Human Heritage on a kobold? You only need fluff justification for the latter, since half-kobolds exist.

Feats get taken after race, so as long as they're all inherited templates, or you Psychic Reformation the feat on later after the acquired ones, then you're fine.

I'm honestly not sure what happens with that mixed-blood kobold. Maybe you flip a coin or something :smallconfused:
