OK, so as the name says: What do you think the most attractive, well-composed, all-around well-drawn panel in all of OOTS is? Because I just love that panel of Haley waving from down the line, but there have been some nice ones recently.

EDIT: This was going to be a poll, but there are too many choices and not enough poll options. So, just go on and post what you think.

I actually quite like panel 8 in the latest comic or the fight scene between Biege Miko and Roy.

There's the one of Belkar smashing through the window of course.

My hat is off for the first panel of OOTS #430.

Nothing beats an epic cinematic like clash between bitter nemesis (well, if Xykon could remember that Roy was his nemesis)

Ranis

I'm going to second Zynex here, that one is also my favorite.

My other favorite is when Miko is about to land the final blow on Belkar.

I'd have to vote for TWO panels--the top two of #422, showing the huge hobgoblin army approaching Azure City.

Last panel of 300.

Obviously the final panel of 300 is one of the best. The top of #430 is awesome. I think those are among the top two, but one of my personal favorites is the Shadow Jump panel in #242. The shadows are cool, and the way the assassin just blends into the shadow is insanely awesome.

Definitely Elan leaping off Captain Scoundrel's ship and into the inn.

400 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0400.html). Big one right in the middle.

284. THAT's a climax.

Zynex and Ranis have it!

I also agree with Zynex. I especially like the the way the sun adds style to the rather detailless (does this word exist?) style of Rich's stick figures. And the look on Roy's face. Priceless.

I do have to say top panel of 430 is my favorite, but the top panel of 105 is my second.

I'd like to add the last panel of 439 to my list of most artistic. The pile of Hobgoblins is well done, but obviously it's Belkar that really stands out. From the individual hairs on his head and feet, to the scrapes and cuts he suffered from his enemies. But I think the most artistic and detailed part of the panel is Belkar's torn and tattered cloak flapping in the wind.

I think the art style has evolved over the course of the series, but the first panel of 105 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0105.html) holds up well.

Seconded! That shot took some serious cinematography. (...hang on...)

Definitely Elan leaping off Captain Scoundrel's ship and into the inn.

I do love that one. Also the one "Roys' Angels" oots #239 when Roy, Haley, and V are silohetted in the doorway. Very nice.

It's really hard for me to pick a single favorite here... 105, 300, 400, 430 and more recently 439 are all classics in my book. Though I must add that I loved the entire action sequence in #424, the 'paper beats rock' bit. V is a god and that strip proved it.

I loved the splash scene when Xykon is on the march to Azure City.

There have been a lot of gems lately. Like many others, I think 430's first panel is high on the list. And of course the splash page for 300 goes on there, too, along with the perspective work in several panels of 392. And who could forget Durkon's sequence in 352?

But I also love many of the "small moments". The zoom-in sequence on Belkar in 439 really got to me. You can really feel yourself being pulled into that claustrophobic fight. And Haley waving to Elan in 438 was a real treat.

Going way, way back, I really liked the last panel of 246. Simple and poignant.

Durkon at his best: #352 I can't choose between P12, P13, or P16.

The big splash of 300 and the ARRGH scene from 407 as the Paladin-ness is removed from Miko. The blue sparkle effects are very nifty in that one.

I can't really decide, but when Elan and Thog jumped from the airship, that blew me away.

The first scene that came to my mind is when OotS entered Xykon's throne room in the dungeon. However, reading throught the thread, I'm reminded of some gems.

My final say is Roy leaping at the zombie dragon, closely followed by Elan jumping to the rescue.

The jumping off the airship is great. A subtler one is 6th panel of this (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0376.html). I always liked tacit expressions...

I agree. In fact, that entire comic was inspiringly good stick-figure art. First was the difficult background scenery, then the Mechane throwing down alchemists fire, then the LEGENDARY jump! And let us not forget how good of a strip it was anyways, even besides the art.

I'll put in the 8th vote (if I counted correctly) for panel 1 of 430 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0430.html) (which happens to be on my desktop right now).
