Cost to have someone cast an 8th level spell for you

I am trying to hunt down the chart I found ages ago for how much it would cost to have an NPC cast an 8th level spell for you. I really think its in the DMG, but I cant seem to find it.

Can someone either give me a page number or the cost to have a druid (if it matters) cast an 8th level spell on behalf of the player?
There is a small xp cost for the spell too, so not sure how that factors in.

Ya know, I did not even look at that one
Its very funny you brought that up tho because I take half again (50%) more damage from fire, TWICE

So for the low low cost of 16'200, I could negate that fully, and be immune to cold too by default.
However that is well past the money limit of the spell, so I would have to run that by the DM (he will prolly say yes, but thats a lot of money to just be immune to fire)

If you are trying to guess what I am trying to get used, it involves the use of metamagic :)

Also... Why is the same spell in the Frostburn book, several levels lower, and has no costly item to cast? I nee to look up to see if there is a ratta on these spells now

See Spell Compendium, where that Frostburn spell has been updated — with greatly reduced duration.
