The World of Arya

[Deadly]

This is the world of Arya, the home world of Aeri (and a couple of my other characters). It is completely removed from the reality of the Town and only accessible through a portal on Achim's ship. For anyone in Town it simply does not exist, that's the best it can be explained :)

[Deadly]

Achim, Aeri and Nazgul arrive through a deep black portal in a small stone room decorated with blue and silver tapestries. There's a single door, with two guards in front. Seeing Aeri the two guards immediatly kneel down and bow their heads in respect.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul raises an eyebrow.

[Deadly]

Aeri notices Nazgul's raises eyebrow and smiles It's just a formality. she says and follows Achim as he walks past the guards and through the door into a beautifully decorated hall. An elderly man walks up to them and bows "Greetings lady Aeri, master Achim. High arcanist Arslan is not here at the moment, but you are welcome to wait here for him."

Achim smiles and bows slightly at the man Thank you, I will be waiting. he then turns to Nazgul and Aeri I guess you have better things to do than sit and wait here. If you need me I am probably here somewhere.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul nods. Thank you. He turns to Aeri. So...what now?

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles and bows at Achim and the old man as they leave, then turns to Nazgul We need to make our way to the temple to see the counsil, I want to get that over with. This is high arcanist Arslan's quarters, they are located just outside the temple grounds. Arcane magic is not widely trusted and mages are not allowed to practice their craft on the temple's area.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul smiles at her. Lead the way then, beautiful.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles and kisses him, then leads him outside.

The city is huge and full of people everywhere. Trees, small gardens, statues and other things decorate the place. There are guards patrolling everywhere, and a pair close by kneels down as they see Aeri.

Aeri smiles at Nazgul This is Epitha, capital of the Shoar empire and the largest city on the continent.

[Kyrian]

It looks beautiful...

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles It is. But it is much more beautiful at night.

She bows politely at a passing man, a paladin judging by the armor which is similar to Aeri's, and walks north towards a massive structure which can only be the temple. It is not unlike the temple of Bahamutte back in Town.

As they walk through the gates to the temple grounds they enter a large walled garden with a large fountain in the center. All around there are priests and other people, all bowing respectfully at Aeri.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul watches all of this, and walks close to Aeri the whole time.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles and continues up the stairs to the entrance of the temple, and into the sanctuary, which almost looks like it was designed for dragons rather than tiny humans.

An elderly man in white and silvery robes walks up to them, looking cheerful as he bows "Greetings lady Aeri, and you too, friend." he says and smiles "What can I help you with?"

Aeri smiles and bows as well before looking at Nazgul This is Amir, high priest of the temple. she says and turns back to Amir And this is Nazgul, my soon to be husband. she smiles

Amir smiles and bows at Nazgul again "A pleasure to meet you, Nazgul."

[Kyrian]

Nazgul smiles and bows. As well to you, Amir.

[Deadly]

Amir smiles and turns to Aeri "So, what brings you back here this day?"

Aeri sighs a bit I am here to see the counsil. It is a matter of some importance.

Amir nods "Yes. I believe they have been expecting you, actually. In any case, you know where to find them." he smiles "And you know where to find me, or one of the other priests, if you need anything."

Aeri smiles and bows Thank you, Amir. she says. Amir smiles and bows as well before returning to his work.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul looks around, taking in all the sights.

[Deadly]

The sights found in the sanctuary are what you might expect: Lots of priests in white and silver robes walking around, doing what priests are expected to do in a temple. The room is brightly lit and on the far end stands a statue of a large silvery dragon, which also serves as altar. In the center of the room is a small fountain of crystal clear water, along the walls are trees and plants, and looking up you'd swear that you're looking at a clear blue sky, despite the fact that there obviously are more floors above the sanctuary. Looking very closely at the sky you might realise that it's a painting.

Aeri smiles The counsil resides on the third floor above us. The rest of the temple may not be of much interrest right now.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul nods. After you, my lady...

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles and leads him up a flight of stairs, entering a small room with a single large door. Aeri stands against a wall and waits a bit nervously. Now we just wait a bit. This is probably the worst part... the waiting. she sighs

[Kyrian]

Nazgul takes this time to sneak in a kiss. It'll be ok, beautiful.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles a bit and returns the kiss Thank you.

A bit later the large door opens silently and Aeri sighs This is it. Just stay in the back, I don't expect it to take that long.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul nods and touches her cheek gently, trying to reassure her.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles, then turns to the door and walks through it slowly, obviously not as secure as she probably should be, and likely are normally in this situation.

Behind the door is a large room, looking a bit like a courtroom, thought more nicely decorated. At the end sits seven people, all dressed in the same dark blue and silver robes. The man in the middle stands up and bows slightly at Aeri "Welcome child, please step forward." Aeri does so, walking up in front of the group and kneels down.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul slowly enters, and stands in the back, watching.

[Deadly]

Aeri takes a deep breath, trying to collect her thoughts before slowly speaking Honored counsil, I come before you because I have sinned, and wish to confess.

The man in the center nods, while the others listen in silence. Aeri looks up nervously I have been lying and deliberately hiding the truth, for a long time. The assassin Chiran is still alive despite my claims otherwise. she pauses again I could not carry out my order and left him, a former friend, to bleed in the woods. He survived and is alive.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul watches in silence, though a tear falls from his eyes at the site of his lover doing this.

[Deadly]

Aeri pauses for a while before continuing I did not bring back Jadic either, as I was ordered to, instead I killed him in a rage and now I don't know what has happened to him.
I have given in to the evil of my blood at times, endangering friends and innocents. And I have kept silent about things, when I knew that doing so could bring others in danger.
I have sinned and failed my lord. she says finally before looking down silently. The man in front nods and looks thoughtful for a moment.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul continues to watch, and sends his love through the bracelet Aeri's wearing.

[Deadly]

Aeri straightens a bit at the warmth of the bracelet, but remains silent.

The man in front finally speaks "You have affirmed that you have broken your vows as a paladin and disgraced yourself in the eyes of your lord. As representatives of Shoar, we accept your confession.

Furthermore, despite your poor judgement and lack of character in the orders you have been given, your lord wishes to absolve you of your guilt and provide you with another chance. On one condition."

Aeri looks up, waiting for him to continue

[Kyrian]

Nazgul waits, slightly worried as a variety of "one conditions" run through his mind.

[Deadly]

The man pauses as if to await some unheard confirmation, then speaks "You must complete the task you were first given and which you failed. Chiran must be brought before us, dead or alive. This task is of utmost importance, and you will carry it out if your wish to remain in favor with your lord. We have nothing more to say, you may go." the man says and sits down.

Aeri hesitates a bit, then stands and bows solemnly I will not fail you again. Of that I swear. she says before turning around and walking out slowly.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul follows Aeri.

[Deadly]

The door closes behind them and Aeri turns and hugs Nazgul I don't know what I had expected, but it wasn't as bad as that, I think. Thank you for being here for me.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul holds her close, thankful that his fears weren't confirmed. Anything for you.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles a bit and sighs I guess we have the rest of the day. Anything you'd like to do?

[Kyrian]

Anything you wish. You know this place. Nazgul smiles softly at her.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles and kisses him There's a nice, small restaurant down by the docks.

[Kyrian]

Well that sounds like a wonderful idea. I'm starving. Nazgul returns the kiss and grins.

[Deadly]

So am I. This have been quite stressing, to be honest. she smiles and sighs a bit, then takes his arm and leads him back outside, and down towards the docks. Everywhere they pass people look up and bow respectfully and guards kneel down at them.

[Kyrian]

You must be pretty popular here...

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles I am commanding officer of the army, chosen of the god and one of the highest ranked paladins of the empire. As such the guards are required to kneel down when in speaking range. It's just a formality.

As for other people, I try my best to be nice and stay on good terms with people. Many other paladins don't seem to care about that much, especially once they reach higher ranks. It's a shame.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul wraps Aeri up in his arms and kisses her cheek. Well then, I'm glad that I have the loveliest one, and with morals.

[Deadly]

Aeri chuckles There are other nice paladins. I don't want it to sound like I'm the only one who cares, I'm not that full of myself. she grins

[Kyrian]

I never for a moment thought that you were.

[Deadly]

I know, my love. It was mostly to the universe, to avoid it smiting me for being arrogant. she smiles

[Kyrian]

Nazgul chuckles, then thinks of something. What about your parents?

[Deadly]

Aeri frowns a bit What do you mean?

[Kyrian]

Well, shouldn't you tell them about us?

[Deadly]

Aeri sighs My mother died while I was still a kid, and my father is... not someone I want to have anything to do with. If he's even still alive. Quite honestly I hope he's not.

[Kyrian]

Oh...Nazgul looks down. sorry...

[Deadly]

She shakes her head and smiles a bit Don't worry about it, my love, you didn't know. I fled my family long ago, and I want as little to do with it as possible.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul leans down to kiss her. I love you Aeri.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles and returns the kiss as they reach the small restaurant I love you too, Nazgul. I always will.

[Kyrian]

As will I, beautiful.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles and leads him into the restaurant. A friendly waiter leads them to a quiet table off in the back, with a nice view over the ocean. As Nazgul might have expected the menu is almost entirely seafood. Aeri smiles and sits down.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul takes a seat beside her and grins at the menu.

[Deadly]

Aeri grins and looks at the list of wines I don't think they have Chimera Cabernet around here. Should we just take their best red?

[Kyrian]

Sounds good. Hmm...let's see, ooo, crab cakes.

[Deadly]

Aeri chuckles and orders the wine before turning to the menu herself. I think I'll try the swordfish steaks. It's been ages since I've had that.

[Kyrian]

I'm sticking with the crab cakes. Nazgul smiles and leans over to kiss her.

[Deadly]

Aeri sighs happily at the kiss and takes his hand.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul gently squeezes her hand and looks out at the view. So what's next?

[Deadly]

Tonight I just want to rest. We can spend the night in my quarters at the temple. Weddings are not normally held here, in the capital, but rather in the city of Sinai further north where the river splits. It's an old tradition, something to do with the two rivers becoming one and such. We'll sail there early tomorrow, it's a fairly long trip. she smiles

[Kyrian]

Sounds like a plan to me.

[Deadly]

Aeri nods and smiles I can hardly wait.

[Kyrian]

I know. I'm so excited for it.

[Deadly]

I can't understand that this is truly real. she smiles But it is.

Their food arrives and the waiter walks off silently to not disturb

[Kyrian]

I understand what you mean. I fear that this is only a dream, and if it is, I never wish to wake again.

[Deadly]

She smiles and kisses him Then it's a good thing it's not a dream.

[Kyrian]

Very good. Nazgul turns and notices the food. He smiles. Looks good.

[Deadly]

Aeri grins and turns to the food as well It sure does. They've always served great food here. Well... as long as I can remember, in any case.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul chuckles and starts in on the crab cakes.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles and starts on her swordfish while watching Nazgul a bit

[Kyrian]

Nazgul watches her out of the corner of his eye as he eats

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles Are your crab cakes good?

[Kyrian]

Very, thank you. And your swordfish?

[Deadly]

Great. Just as I remember it.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul grins and tries to steal a bite.

[Deadly]

Aeri grins and pulls the plate away, then offers it to him I'm not that hungry anyway, it seems. she smiles

[Kyrian]

Nazgul takes a bite, and looks to Aeri. You ok?

[Deadly]

She nods and leans against him Just a little tired.

[Kyrian]

Well, then we should find my soon to be wife her bed...

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles and kisses him That sounds nice.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul lays coins down on the table. But you need to stay awake so I don't get lost.

[Deadly]

Aeri chuckles and stands up Don't worry, my love.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul gets up and grins.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles and takes his hand, then walks outside.

[Kyrian]

As soon as they're outside, Nazgul scoops Aeri up into his arms.

[Deadly]

Aeri chuckles and wraps her arms around his neck

[Kyrian]

Nazgul spreads his wings out and takes for the skies. He smiles as he holds her close, and looks around at this new world for him.

[Deadly]

The city is much larger than what might have been expected from the ground. It is located at the delta of a huge river that winds north into the distance.

Aeri blinks at the sight, not really used to seeing the city from the sky

[Kyrian]

Looks beautiful...

[Deadly]

Aeri grins This is nothing.

[Kyrian]

What do you mean? Nazgul raises an eyebrow.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles Nevermind. It is beautiful here, in it's own way.

[Kyrian]

No, tell me. Please?

[Deadly]

Aeri gestures at the surrounding lands. The city is surrounded by flat grasslands for miles in every direction except south, which is the ocean It's a bit flat and empty around here, in general. There are places elsewhere that I'd consider of much greater beauty, even other places as flat as here. The most interresting about this place is the sea, but that easily makes up for the rest. she smiles.

[Kyrian]

I see. Now, where am I taking us this evening, beautiful?

[Deadly]

Well, if it's my bed you're looking for, you want to find your way back to the temple. she grins. The temple is pretty easy to spot from the air.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul flies back to the temple, and lands. He gently sets Aeri down

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles and hugs him before walking inside and up the stairs to the second floor. Here she walks through a few corridors to a small suite, leading Nazgul inside. These are my quarters, then. For a temple I'd say the accomodations are rather nice. she grins

She closes the door behind them and leads him into the bedroom...

Aeri wakes and blinks a bit at the light

[Kyrian]

Nazgul is sitting up slightly, smiling as he watches her. Mornin' beautiful.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles and sits up as well Mornin', love.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul kisses her. How did you sleep?

[Deadly]

Wonderfully. This bed has never been better. she grins

[Kyrian]

Nazgul chuckles. What's our agenda for today?

[Deadly]

Well, we need to get on a ship early. The trip to Sinai will take most of the day, so the sooner we go the better. she smiles And I know just the right ship to look for.

((The trip would probably take a few days if you cared for realism, but I don't :smallbiggrin:))

[Kyrian]

Nazgul smiles and puts his arms around her, pulling her close. Oh really?

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles and kisses him Of course. I know where to find the best things around here. she grins

[Kyrian]

Like what? Nazgul returns the grin and kiss.

[Deadly]

Whatever you like, my love.

[Kyrian]

What if I want....the best lady I've ever met, and only one I've ever loved?

[Deadly]

Aeri chuckles Well, they sure don't have those standing around down at the market...

[Kyrian]

Nazgul pulls her closer. No suggestions then?

[Deadly]

Well, I do believe you're looking at her right now... she grins

[Kyrian]

Well...what do you know, you're absolutely right. Nazgul grins and kisses her passionately.

[Deadly]

Aeri sighs at the kiss and smiles

[Kyrian]

We should probably get going, shouldn't we?

[Deadly]

Aeri nods That's probably best. she says and gets up to find her clothes

[Kyrian]

Nazgul gets up and dressed, smiling at Aeri the entire time.

[Deadly]

Aeri gets dressed as well and turns to Nazgul with a smile, taking his hand Shall we go, my love?

[Kyrian]

Lead the way, beautiful.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles and leads him out of the temple and back down towards the docks.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul looks around, grinning like nothing else. He stands behind Aeri and slips both arms around her waist.

[Deadly]

Aeri grins and looks around the docks Now we only have to find the right ship...

[Kyrian]

Don't look at me, I wouldn't know. Nazgul smiles and leans down to kiss Aeri's cheek.

[Deadly]

Aeri grins and shakes her head, then walks down to a less populated part of the docks. She stops in front of a small ship, only large enough to hold a few passengers. It looks a bit odd, almost as if made of huge scales or something, but aside from that it looks nice enough. Aeri grins There, I knew it had to be around here.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul raises a questioning eyebrow.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles as a small man appears on the deck of the ship and looks up at them with a smile. He too looks rather unusual, about the size of a tall halfling, covered in tiny almost black scales and his eyes are big and entirely black. He bows politely and grins at Aeri "Welcome, it's been so long."

Aeri smiles and bows, then turns to Nazgul This is Erd, captain of The Seadragon, fastest ship around here. And don't be fooled by it's size, it's quite luxurious too. she smiles and turns to Erd, gesturing at Nazgul Erd, this is Nazgul, my love and soon to be husband.

Erd grins and hops on land to greet Nazgul properly "Ah, a pleasure meeting you. You're a lucky man."

[Kyrian]

Thank you. And I know I am. Nazgul grins and looks at Aeri as he says this.

[Deadly]

Erd grins "You would have to, with a woman like that. Anyway, where are you headed?" he says and hops back on the ship. Sinai, of course. Aeri smiles. Erd rolls his eyes and grins "When are people going to stop that silly tradition and go somplace nice for once? Ah well, that's a long trip, we'd better hurry then. Can't have you getting late for your own wedding". Aeri chuckles and walks onboard

[Kyrian]

Nazgul smiles as he follows his lover onboard the ship.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles and holds his hand as they follow Erd below deck and into a room obviously reserved for passengers. Despite the small size, which is still large enough for Nazgul (though only just), it's quite comfortable and nice.

Erd smiles and bows slightly "You can rest here if you like, though the trip won't be quite that long so you're certainly welcome to spend the time out on the deck. Much nicer up there." he grins and leaves with a last bow.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul takes the opportunity to pick Aeri up and passionately kiss her.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles and sighs at the kiss as the ship begins to move, gracefully gliding through the water, sailing north into the distance as Aeri and Nazgul go to get married ((and this is where we leave them))

[Deadly]

((And... resume play...)) Aeri wakes up in their rented room and blinks at the light, then smiles and looks at Nazgul

[Kyrian]

Nazgul pretends to sleep, but a small smile starts to grow.

[Deadly]

Aeri grins and watches him "sleep"

[Kyrian]

Morning, beautiful...

[Deadly]

Mornin', love. She smiles and kisses him

[Kyrian]

Nazgul returns the kiss, opening his eyes and wrapping his arms around Aeri. He checks her left hand. Making sure it wasn't a dream...

[Deadly]

Aeri grins If so, then promise never to wake me.

[Kyrian]

Never. Nazgul grins back.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles and sighs as she holds him close

[Kyrian]

So, when would you like to go home? Nazgul brushes his hand through her hair.

[Deadly]

Probably should be soon. she sighs I do need to take care of the counsil's order

[Kyrian]

Maybe...then again, we could always start work on our house... Nazgul grins.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles a bit I would love that. But I still have to take care of the order, too.

[Kyrian]

I could help, if you'd like?

[Deadly]

If you like. This time I want to do it right. No more mistakes, no more lies. she sighs I must bring Chi before the counsil, alive.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul nods, and kisses Aeri gently. Don't worry. Please. Now's a time for our happiness.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles and nods You're right. Today we can relax and celebrate.

[Kyrian]

Spend time with my beautiful wife... Nazgul smiles.

[Deadly]

And my wonderful husband... she smiles back and kisses him

[Kyrian]

Nazgul returns the kiss, then looks deep into Aeri's eyes. I love you.

[Deadly]

I love you too. she says and smiles

[Kyrian]

Nazgul holds her close, grinning.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles Something you want to do today, my love?

[Kyrian]

Spend the rest of my life with you? Nazgul grins.

[Deadly]

Aeri grins and kisses him Aside from that

[Kyrian]

I don't know. You know this place better than I.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles and thinks True, but maybe you had some ideas.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul just grins.

[Deadly]

Aeri grins too We could always just fly...

[Kyrian]

That sounds like a lovely idea.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles and sits up, finding her clothes I think so too.

[Kyrian]

As Aeri sits up, Nazgul grins and lightly runs the back of his hands down the front of her body, then looks away innocently.

[Deadly]

Aeri shivers lightly at the touch and turns to him with a grin before kissing him deeply

[Kyrian]

So much for flying.... Nazgul returns the kiss, then tries to slide out of the bed.

[Deadly]

((I can't stay on long today, anyway. An hour more, likely.))

Aeri grins and takes his hand, trying to drag him back a bit

[Kyrian]

Nazgul grins back at her. Can I help you, my lovely wife?

[Deadly]

Aeri wraps her arms around him and kisses him Maybe... she grins

[Kyrian]

Oh really? Nazgul climbs back into the bed and strokes her cheek, returning the kiss, and deepening it.

[Deadly]

Aeri sighs and gently caresses his neck, too lost in the kiss to say anything.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul shivers slightly and presses closer against her, not yet ready to break the kiss.

[Deadly]

Aeri slowly moves her hand down his back, not breaking the kiss either.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul's wings twitch, and he increases the passion of the kiss, letting Aeri's bracelet warm up even more with his love.

[Deadly]

Aeri sighs and pulls him down with her as the curtain rolls down around them.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul pulls Aeri closer to him under their sheets and kisses her deeply.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles and sighs as she wraps her arms around him

[Kyrian]

Hello, my love. she smiles

[Kyrian]

So...are you going to let me take you flying today, or are we spending another whole day in bed? Nazgul grins.

[Deadly]

Aeri grins and kisses him Flying. You could fly us back to Epitha, perhaps? It's a long flight, though.

[Kyrian]

I think I may have enough strength....not completely sure after some of those things you did last night....

[Deadly]

Aeri chuckles and gets up

[Kyrian]

Nazgul gets up and finds his clothes.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles at him and slowly gets dressed.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul gets dressed, stretching as he does to help his sore muscles...

[Deadly]

Aeri walks over and hugs him, smiling Needs a massage sometime, maybe?

[Kyrian]

That sounds really good...

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles and gently massages his shoulders a bit Then maybe we should take the ship back...

[Kyrian]

No, I can fly us back, beautiful. He closes his eyes and sighs. Oh that feels so good.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles and continues the massage Whatever you like, my love.

((I need to go, I have some statistics to do for tomorrow, so let's leave them hanging here :)))

Nazgul shivers and closes his eyes as he enjoys her touch. What am I going to do with you....?

[Deadly]

Aeri grins Something nice, I hope...

[Kyrian]

Well...we could put off flying again... Nazgul grins right back and leans down to deeply and passionately kiss Aeri.

[Deadly]

Aeri returns the kiss and smiles We could...

[Kyrian]

The only question is...what would we do? Nazgul grins and puts his arms around her.

[Deadly]

Maybe we should find out... she grins

[Kyrian]

Maybe we should. Nazgul watches her, still grinning.

[Deadly]

Aeri grins and wraps her arms around him tightly before kissing him

[Kyrian]

Nazgul chuckles after the kiss. Oh...that's what you were talking about...I thought you meant playing chess or something...

[Deadly]

Aeri grins and kisses him teasingly I think you think too much, maybe...

[Kyrian]

Nazgul grins and kisses her back, attempting to slide one hand up her shirt and gently pushing her back to the bed.

[Deadly]

Aeri sighs and returns the kiss as she lets herself get pushed back and pulls down the curtain.

((And... will they ever manage to get back home? That's the question I ask myself as I now leave. Goodnight :smallbiggrin:))

Nazgul sits up and brushes his hand through Aeri's hair.

[Deadly]

Aeri wakes up and smiles at him Mornin', love

[Kyrian]

But, my lovely wife, if we never leave, we'll never get to make our house up in the mountains.

Aeri smiles and kisses him Then we'd better leave.

[Kyrian]

Your wish is my command... Nazgul grins and returns the kiss.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles, sits up and wraps her arms around him I love you.

[Kyrian]

I love you too, Aeri, the woman of my dreams, and stealer of my heart. Nazgul grins and puts his arms around her.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles and kisses him, not too happy about having to let go to get dressed

[Kyrian]

Nazgul returns the kiss. And here we get stuck again....

[Deadly]

Aeri sighs and nods I just don't want to let go of you...

[Kyrian]

I know the feeling, Aeri. I never want to let go either.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles and kisses him deeply

Nazgul returns the kiss, just as deeply. He tries to slide out of the bed.

[Deadly]

Aeri sighs and lets go of him reluctantly as she gets out of the bed as well

[Kyrian]

Nazgul gets dressed.

Aeri watches him and smiles as she gets dressed as well

[Kyrian]

Nazgul turns and smiles.

Aeri smiles and hugs him If we want any chance of leaving, we should probably hurry. she grins

[Kyrian]

Lead the way then, my love.

[Deadly]

Aeri kisses him briefly, then leads him out of their rented apartment. She blinks at the sun and smiles It's a perfect weather for flying

[Kyrian]

Nazgul takes the hint and scoops Aeri into his arms.

[Deadly]

Aeri chuckles and kisses him as she wraps her arms around his neck

[Kyrian]

Nazgul spreads his wings and takes off.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles and watches the city grow smaller as they fly higher

[Kyrian]

Which way, my love?

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles Just follow the river south. That way we'll get back to Epitha eventually. she looks around Make sure to stay to the river, though. The countryside is not always safe.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul nods and heads south, staying directly above the river.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles and looks around as they fly. The land is mostly rocky grassland for miles around, a few scattered settlements here and there. It almost looks like trees and other plants don't really want to grow here.

Directly to the west a great forest can barely be made out, and as they make their way further south a few, low mountains appear to the south-west. But other than that the landscape is surprisingly empty.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul holds onto Aeri just a bit tighter and speeds up.

[Deadly]

Aeri looks at him Something wrong, my love?

[Kyrian]

Nope, just wanted to feel more wind. Nazgul smiles.

[Deadly]

Aeri grins and kisses him Just remember that it's a long flight.

In the distance to the east are what appears to be a large group of people, only barely visible.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul returns the kiss, and keeps flying.

((And this is where I have to leave it, going to work soon.))

Aeri smiles and looks around. Seeing the group of people she narrows her eyes a bit and watches them

[Kyrian]

Something wrong, dear?

[Deadly]

Aeri shakes her head a bit and smiles after a moment No, I'm fine

[Kyrian]

Who are those people?

[Deadly]

Followers of the Scarlet Blade, most likely. They are headed east, though, so no need to worry.

[Kyrian]

You sure? Nazgul tightens his grip on her just a little.

[Deadly]

She smiles I'm certain. If they were up to trouble they would not be moving away from the river, and they would be trying to hide, not walking around openly.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul returns the smile and keeps flying.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles and kisses him as they fly.

The trip is uneventful, and after some time the city appears in the horizon.
