View Full Version : Most Broken Race without worrying about LA?

So my friend recently decided to try and DM an all evil campaign. He let us make characters that start at level 10 and then go nuts with our character concepts.
Originally, I wanted to make a Sillit Nerra Wizard since the Fiend Folio has their LA at 18, meaning I'd get the starting gold of a 28th level character.
But I began to wonder what else there are.
So I'm asking help to find other completely broken Races (monstrous or otherwise) for Wizards. Keep in mind that this is pretty much a one shot scenario, so leveling up is a moot point, so the LA can be as high as possible.

Sarrukh, anyone? Then just make whatever you want?

There really isn't any other option besides this. Consider Tome Dragon as well, but you really cannot get any more powerful than Sarrukh.

Do templates count? Might as well stick Paragon (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/epic/monsters/paragonCreature.htm) on there. And whatever other templates you can think of. Because why not.

totally this (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showsinglepost.php?p=19035780&postcount=286) as long as we are including RHD as the "Level adjustment"

Here's a similar thread from a few weeks ago. (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?403191-In-a-world-without-LA) We added templates and broke everything.

Wealth is entirely derived from class levels. Having a large level adjustment does not get you additional wealth.

I really hate the DMG and how unclear the entire book is.

Wealth is derived from ECL.
