Welcome to the Dementrivia. You are all going to die here. Oops, false introduction text.

What is this about? You can read the long description (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=35592) or accept the short explanation:
Each round, I give you one question. You send me an answer that is wrong, but as funny and entertaining as possible. After some time, I will gather your entries and reveal them. Then you may vote for your favorite answer, thus awarding it points.

Eight rounds and still some more to come? Did I set the 101 winning criteria too high? Maybe. Prove me wrong and produce some landslides.

Question 9: During the course of evolution, both predator and prey have developed several techniques to aid them in their hunting or escaping attempts. One example for an especially refined mechanism is Aposematism. What is this mechanism and how does it work?

Please send your answers as a message until Monday, 7 PM Eastern

Note that this is a game without signups. You can send answers/vote anytime.

Important Note: To add a bit of speed to the game and encourage voting, one rule is changed: Voting in the polls is now worth 2 points instead of 1. I hope this will reduce the problem of tactical non-voting.

So.. how many submissions have you had for this one?

Three. That includes one submission after you pushed the topic. Given the low participation rate, I will put Dementrivia on hiatus and/or wait if someone else picks it up.

Aww...Can't you just post the three submissions and let us vote for those?

Chances are the low submission rate was due to two reasons: 1) Difficulty of the question, 2) Thread on 3rd page.

Did I submit one for this? I know I meant to.

Not enough submissions? I would have sent one in, but I saw that it would miss the deadline...

I'm too tired to make one up today, though.

Finally got around to submitting an answer. Oh, and invisible bump.
