My friends play icons Superpowered RPG but they only have the book on their laptops. Does anyone know of a pdf online I can look at on mine that is free?

From searching for it via Goggle, it looks like it's for sale at GreenRonin and not available online for free. So, unfortunately, that looks like it's not a legal option. (Though maybe my search was insufficient and there's a rules-only/quick-play version out there that is available for free. I only gave a quick look.)

EDIT: as a follow-up, this wiki (http://icons-truth-justice-and-gaming.wikispaces.com/ (http://icons-truth-justice-and-gaming.wikispaces.com/)) has a Rules section. I can't vouch for how accurate or complete it is, but that could be a resource for you.
