Hoping to collect some sites to use to help create credible villains.

I use this site to figure out my villain motivations:

And I use Villains wiki to get some insight from existing characters:

What resources do you guys use when making a Campaign Villain?

Damn auto correct.

Oh, I wasn't criticizing your typo. I was introducing you to my favorite resource on villainy.

Normally, my villains start this way:
1) Google "D&D Quest Ideas" - This leads to literally hundreds of one sentence quest hooks. Some are quite generic; just another tribe of goblins raiding a village, etc., but every so often you'll find one that's intriguing enough that I immediately stop and write it down. When I think I have enough, I go over what I have, and one or two will pop out and begin unfolding a short series of events in my mind.

2) "Man, I love this guy..." - At this point, I have an overarching theme, but no actual villain. Eventually, though, I'll watch a good show, or read a good book, and the villain will just be awesome. And I'll realize his goals are compatible with the quest/campaign I have written already. So I'll begin making modifications (mostly to the villain so he/she isn't a complete ripoff, more of an "inspired by") until the two fit together perfectly.

3) Build some more framework - The last thing I do is decide some scenes that will involve the villain, just to nail down some more character aspects. Some examples include their first interaction with the PC's (assuming things go as I imagine; you can guess how often that happens), turning points in their plans, what happens when something goes wrong for them, etc.
By then, I've got my villain more or less worked out!

TL;DR, Books, movies, TV shows, along with some heavy modification.
