Out of curiosity what affect does energy admixture have on shivering touch. Shivering Touch does have the cold descriptor but what I'm wondering is if applying admixture to this would give it 3d6 regular damage or if it would be 3d6 dex damage in a different energy type.

Shivering Touch is a [cold] spell that does typeless Dexterity damage. Energy Admixture says "You can then modify any spell with an energy descriptor by adding an equal amount of the chosen type of energy to the spell's normal effects", so you would end up dealing 3d6 points of Dexterity damage, then 3d6 points of energy damage (or possibly 0 extra damage, if the Dex damage doesn't count).
