If you mean a thread in which you asked around for people to play with, yes. It would belong in the finding players (recruitment) section of the forum.

If you are a DM looking for players post a notice in the stickied Currently Recruiting Players. If you are a player looking looking for a DM (and others), post a notice in the Seeking a DM thread.
