What are your favourite ways to use Prestidigitation (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ex/20010707)?

1. Use Dampen to make it look like the BBEG has wet himself.

2. Use Clean to do the housework really, really quickly.

3. Use Polish to make sure the paladin really is a knight in shining armour.

4. Get a piece of paper. Show it to the princess. Cover it with your hands and use Change to make it into a rose bloom. Hope that she finds this sufficently romantic to go to bed with you. If not, it can't have hurt.

1. Use Flavor to change the party's rogue's food to taste like a random type of dirt. (This is, of course, assuming I hate the rogue. It could just be the one I liked the least that day.)

2. Use the tinkly music effect for as long as I can manage, using all my spare level 0 slots, to drive the party fighter nuts.

3. Soil. On the paladin's armor. Just after he finishes cleaning it and goes to sleep.

Ah, it's so fun to be an evil and/or chaotic adventurer.

I think moist is the farm hand spell from the gleaner.
Use Ctrl + F to search for the gleaner, it's over there <--.
I've never heard of the tinkly music one.

Edit: Blast, I thought you were just linking to the SRD. Starting a fire with it is a cool trick, I didn't know you could do that.

Clean for quick dry-cleaning at home or on the road.

Pair it with stone to flesh to turn a boulder into a meal-on-the-go!

A tasty meal-on-the-go.

I used it to change the flavor and color of water to that of saki, paid for a weeks inn stay in one night I did.

Create a shower of sparks, potentially to light 50 pints of oil on fire.

Statically charging someone's hair, to make it all frizzy.

Changing the color of someone's hair or skin to something really bright and unusual, like solid blue or red, or a mix of the two. Perhaps after previously charging their hair.

Making my eyes do a swirly thing so I can be like "I have hyp-mo-sis powers" while everyone looks at me like I'm crazy.

Make my eyes and mouth glow with light.

Giving someone, like the party fighter a glowing battle aura with a compliment of levitating small rocks and proceeding with anime references.

Creating a small swarm of fake little bugs to irritate someone.

Creating a fake minature raincloud to hover over someone's head.

Make smoke come out of someone's ears.

Using minature whirlwinds to blow in someone's hair, so they can look extra cool.

In the past I've used Presdidigitation to...
Clean away that pesky silver dust circle on the floor.
Stitch together annoying peoples pockets/packs.
Snowball fights, definatly snowball fights.
Tie bootlaces together.
Create an almost never ending stream of throwable objects that don't actually do anything, except break on impact.

Use the Clean function offensively against an Otyugh (http://www.systemreferencedocuments.org/35/sovelior_sage/monstersOtoR.html#otyugh).

Chill your beer and Heat and Flavour the stuff made by a Spoon of Eating for a more pleasant meal. Do the opposite to the party drow for laughs. Interrogate captured goblins/orcs/drow/etc with Firefinger. Threatening to Clean a captured ogre will serve the same purpose.

mix it with dancing lights and have a blacksmith make a sign, so it becomes a glowing neon sign!

Take a shower
Create junk to throw at bad performers
Make other party members take a shower
Change my characters apparent ethnicity (with COLOR... it would help if I ever went to Rokugan)
Make my character pale, and then create some crude fake vamp fangs.

Use Flavor on mugs of beer to get people drunk on 'apple juice'.

I used it to make a peephole into an enemy's room by making the material in a small area of a hidden bookcase-door transparent to me, though looked like the wood of the case to the bad guy. Two-way glass!

An NPC of mine also casted it on a newcomer to the game as a bit of an initiation thing by causing him to reek of dog urine.

Ward off vampires with the scent of garlic.

Cast it and put your own personal scent on something/someone else to confuse creatures tracking you with scent, or mask your scent completely.

I don't think this would work, Change requires both objects be in the same kingdom, and wood is vegetable while glass is mineral.

From my interpretation, he didn't use Change, he used Color, and he colored it Transparent. That may not be within the rules, but it's not outside of them.

"Honey, will you marry me?"
"Oh yes, of course! ...what kind of ring is that?"
"Oh, it's made of the finest linen!"
":smallconfused:"

EDIT: Clean a Wu Jen with the "can't wash hair" taboo's hair.

EDIT2: Or was that cut? Whatever...

He meant he changed the wood so it looked like glass to him.

Although I now suspect that you were being ironic, in which case, well played, sirrah!

Deadlier uses...

Change your enemies blood into fat/muscle/bone right next to their heart/brain.

Warm an ice monster or something that depends on cold.

Sew some ones mouth and nose shut. Skin counts as leather, right? :smallwink:

Gather a person's heart/brain/lungs or other necessary object.

Dry a water elemental if you're out of other spells.

Wet a fire elemental. See above.

Dampen yourself when fighting a fire monster. +2 Fire Resistance!

Change a bunch of pinecones into apples. Change them back when convenient.

Other:

Become a professional Cleaner.

Become a magician!

Err...I thought Presdigitation could never hurt anyone directly or give you protection of any sort O_o

It can give an object fire resistance, but no, it can't protect you. I don't think it can directly affect living beings at all, actually.

Virtually any use of prestidigitation is funny when used on a barmaid.
Gathering sand into the perfect sand castle.
Stitching two people's clothing together.
Tying enemies shoes together.
