From the SRD:
...specialist wizards receive an additional spell slot of each spell level he can cast, from 1st on up. Each day, a wizard can prepare a spell from his specialty school in that slot. This spell must be in the wizard's spellbook.

If you're taking two classes with a spellbook, and they use the same spells, then you just combine them, right? Would a Conjurer 1/Arcanist X get an additional spell slot for every spell level after 1?

If so, under what circumstances would this dip be better than the school savant archetype for the Arcanist? It would set back spell progression, but make allow for more exploits.

You can use the same spellbook, but only the Wizard side casting would get the Extra Spell slot each level.

as it doesn't say He can cast as wizard then he get school slot every level he can cast(as archanist). then he can perpare those spell slot as wizard. so its castier level of them will be 1st.
make some cheaper item of that. like greater teleport at will as standard action in 7(spell level)*1(caster level:smallbiggrin:)*1800gp = 12600gp

No, you don't just combine the classes. Grarrrg is correct.

I think there's a general rule somewhere about class features that modify levels/spells/etc only apply to things specific to that class unless specifically called out otherwise.

But I'm afb so can't find it right now

A Spellbook is not an item only, it's also a Class Feature. Abilities that affect Class Features do not affect Class Features of other classes unless specifically stated.

This does not work.
