I wasn't sure where to put this but its kinda d20. What if Rich Burlew was asked to put OOtS comics in the 4.0 Players handbook? What strips would go with each section, class, spell, etc.?

Well, he'd start with a version of OotS #1 ("I see we've been updated to he new 4.0 edition")
The experience section would have "up a level, down a level"

Skill sections would be the "wait! I think I failed a spot check" strip.

V's encounter with the chimaera would go in the "spells" section, and V's line "I can rearrange the laws of physics in less than six seconds with enough time left over to move 30 feet." (or something like that) would go in the Wizard class description.

The one about roy and his cleavage could go in the feats section.
And the one in which belkar decides to multiclass into barbarian, (you guessed it) barbarian class description.

The one about turning undead can go in the cleric section. A ghost? Turn undead!

Of course, the Monty Python poleaxe comic should be in equipment.

Actually, the discussions of what they want to multiclass to goes under multiclassing, Belkar's discussion of the benefits of being a Barbarian goes under Barbarian.

There a few strips envolving the evil gnome druid that could go in the druids description.

I would either go for the one he faces Durkon, or the one he sends his companion against haley. ("Foolish girl! I am a druid. I have special abilities that are more powerful than your entire class!")

I'd prefer "Go Team Cleric!" there.

I would pay Good Money for a PHB that had all the normal D&D rules in it but sidebars from the OoTSers and baddies, and Rich's artwork. That would be "teh awesome".

:elan: (snipped)...I'm a bard!
:nale: A bard, huh? My father taught me that bards were underpowered.
:elan: Really? So what class are you?
:nale: I'm a multiclass fighter/rogue/sorcerer who specializes in enchantment spells.
:elan: And that never struck you as needlessly complicated?
:nale: Not until this moment, no.

The most recent one could go under the XP charts in the DMG.
