This week's theme is...
Spring

That's right! You will be drawing avatars (in the OotS style) that represent, showcase, or are dressed up for the spring season! April showers? Sure. May flowers? Of course! Rainbows, candy-bearing bunnies, and so forth are all welcome.

Oh, and make sure to dress up OotS characters, too!

And, of course, there is going to be a First through Third place of the following:

And, as always, the Best Overall award.

As usual, I'll be giving the usual pastel-inspired Roland’s Choice Award to the avatarist's creation that most appeals to my, admittedly chocolate bunny-addled, sensibilities.

Every entry must include a bolded introduction as to what category you are trying to enter in.

Easter is always in the spring time and most of the little traditions involving eggs and bunnies and the like has nothing to do with the religious aspect, so don't see why not.


Btw, would love to see this fey creature OOTSitized, as it goes with the theme:

"This appears as a heart-breakingly beautiful woman seemingly in the mid-stages of pregnancy. Her skin is a lush golden tan with strange markings in blood upon her wide hips. Her dreadlocked hair is long and tangled with bright yellow pollen that drifts as she walks. Bees and butterflies crawl about or alight along the locks, the former often flying into and out of her mouth."

(this'll probably require some strategically placed hair or bees)

Anything that happens between the snow melting and, say, school getting out seems spring-esue to me. But I leave to you to draw what screams "spring!" to you.

Well the only point of constructive criticism I can come up with is something I am sure you already know about... While it is a lovely piece of art, and would work well in a sig. As an avatar the small lines of the flowers would kinda just blend all together, and be hard to see. I really screwed up my first avatar by working with small lines on a 'smaller' part.
