Soulknife (Soulbolt) build Help

I was checking out the psionics again after a long while, and the Soulbolt archetype stood out.

Any tips for building a competent Soulbolt? Feats? Traits? Blade skills? Items?

Blade Skills: Focused Offense, Close-Range Expert, Freezing Bolt

Attack: +12 (1d6+7) or +10/+10 (1d6+7/1d6+7)
AC: 10+2(dex)+7(Armor)+3(Shield) = 22
Hp:10+2x5+2x6+5x3= 48
Saves:+4/+6/+10
Skills:6x5+5 = 35

Questions:
-Am I missing something obvious?

First note, it is not a good idea to pick from that table. Most GMs won't allow it, for exactly the reason you have presented here: The +2 stat mods.
