What do we know?

At the end of the most recent Salvatore book the kingdom of many arrows has been all but demolished, leadership was handed back to an Obould heir and they fled to the mountains. So basically there is no Kingdom of Many Arrows at this time.

You can always just set your campaign a few years back. Even 5-10 years has Many-Arrows in a thriving position in the middle of the Silver Marches. But if you want to stay totally current, you do have a problem, lol.

The MM section on orcs mentions it.

The MM section on orcs mentions it.

And IIRC it is after the overthrow of King Manyarrows by a more traditional (i.e., sociopathic) orc.

Orcs in D&D have floundered a bit over the years. They were always evil, then always chaotic and usually evil, then usually chaotic but no more evil than anyone else! (the grimdark years of 4e), and are now back to usually chaotic evil. We can only suppose that this is due to the influence of Grummsh, which an orc would have to breed out or similar to get away from. Much like the Drow, one good Drow like Drizzt does not mean that the rest of his race doesn't suck overall.

More complicated with the orcs is that even when a goodly orc has a child, the child usually goes back to orc-ing. Obould's influence had virtually no effect on his rave, overall. Only the Obould line seems free from taint. If you want to play an orc from the kingdom that isn't a piece of crap individual, claiming kinship with the Obould line may be lore-friendly.
