Tier Question.

What tier would the Adept be if it added the Wizard list? IE prepares like a Cleric but caps out at 5th level spells.

I'd reckon third. Definitely below anything in tier two, and you're above a bunch of stuff in three.

Low 3 is possible, but so is high 4. You'd have fantastic spell access, but you'd be so far behind the curve in terms of power that you might well wind up in "capable of all things but not that well" terrain.
