Large creatures and pitfall traps?

What happens when a large or larger creature runs over a pitfall trap with only part of it's space?

Ex: I am putting a hall of pitfall traps in a dungeon, the only way around them are diagonal steps. One of my players likes to summon astral constructs. What would happen if it went diagonal and had full squares passing over two separate traps?
