If a Druid wild shapes into the form of an octopus, it has the attacks Arms+5Melee, Bite+0 Melee. The damage is 0 for arms, and 1d3 for the bite. My question is this: If subject to magic fang, or bull's strength, or a similar spell, does the arms attack do actual damage? Initially I read the arms wrong, so I though it was 8 attacks, hence my interest in this form...

Given that an octopus deals no damage with its attack, even with a strength of 12, it seems like the intent is that the tentacles do not do damage. They simply hold the target for the bite attack. Magic Fang also wouldn't change this, IMO, any more than it adds damage to a touch attack.

Now, the GIANT octopus? Eight tentacle attacks, reach and the ability to move around a bit on land (at least, long enough to grapple the crap out of a pair of wizards, while holding your breath to keep from "drowning") - SO much fun.

Doesn't the giant octopus have reach too?

Oh wait, you said that. Stupid, blind, me.
