Words of Power vs Regular arcane casting on a Sorcerer

On a sorcerer, which would you say is more useful- Words of Power, or regular casting? Pros and Cons?

Regular Casting, hands down. The wide variety of spells you can get access to that Words of Power can not come close to mimicking wins every time.

HOWEVER!!!!

This is important. Words of Power offers unmatched versatility in your blasting spells and makes evocation viable for those with few spells known. You can change up the targets on the fly (line, burst, cone, target, etc) and not have to learn a spells for each individual setting.

In short, you want to dabble with Words of Power. Take the Experimental Spellcaster feat and learn a few select blasting spell words. Use boost and meta-magic as normal to enhance effectiveness. You get the best of both worlds. I'd suggest this to any spontaneous spellcaster with an extra feat to spare.
