One of my players is playing a steel wyrmling. I gave them a free +1 LA so he is Steel wyrmling 5/ sorcerer 4 with Loredrake to boost his caster level to 7. I am wondering is there anyone to add on one more caster level to get him to sorcerer casting 8?

Mention in his background that one of his RHD was permanently lost to some undead, and make him a steel wyrmling 4 / sorcerer 5?

Just so long at it's not your first RHD, that build is quite the man.

I already forbade that. Do not want to open that door.

No sadly. Amazing list but none of them would give him 4th level spells.

Would you allow Spellhoarding Psychosis? Doesn't give 8th level Sorc casting, but does give 7th level Wizard, and thus 4ths.

I did this for a Dragon NPC, the Scales as Scrolls might be a bit awkward to work out for a PC.
