If Belkar is a Jerren, would he ever have had a shoulder angel in the first place? That is, BEFORE the angel got sent to a mental institution by Belkar's lack of jolliness?

I sincerely doubt that he is anything other than an ordinary, run-of-the-mill, completely psycho halfling.

I think his angel (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0435.html) would have been able to tell the difference, and wouldn't have gone quite so crazy if he was a/half Jerren. All he says is "He's a halfling, he's supposed to be jolly!"

But then, what do I know? I've just got this primitive Irony Sensor. Even says "Built Ford Tough" on the front. Still, it works like a charm. Made from those good old days when they still had nonbiodegradeable plastic. Still, it's a pain having to measure sarcasm using a slide ruler.
