5e Owlbear Barbarian

I'm trying to workout how to pitch the idea of an owlbear themed barbarian. My wizard in the same campaign, on the new world continent carries an owlbear beak from an encounter.

I was considering the use of the scent feat, probably enhanced grappling and the potential for more. But I wondered if the community had anything preexisting.

Would adding an owlbear totem spirit to the Path of the Totem Warrior suffice?

EDIT: Actually, is this about homebrewing features to make an owlbear-themed barbarian? Or using existing features? Because I think the main 5e board would be the place for the latter.
